To whom it may concern, I'm open tonight if someone wants a fight or if another mod would give me a fight.

Thank you. :)

I took the 4000 post!

Wahoo!! :D

Hmm, not bad.

I just went over it and, out of main six posters, only Mahneto X no longer RPG's here.

Not a bad average concidering how long this thing got.

Blane simply breaks the forcefield with a single puch. He then starts moving toward you, chanting something in an arcane language

Magneto X, if you still want tp play in this RPG, then here is the last battle post.

You are in the middle of a fight with a mysterious character named Blane.

Oh, by-the-way, to those who own a Sword of Power, please remind me of which ones you have.

One more thing.

How many people here have a Dragoon Spirit and what color is it?

I have the Divine Dragoon Spirit myself.

Sightblind and Townsaver.

Hey Cleric, can I let go of the Townsaver? I mean.. it is kinda screwing up with my master plan.

But yeah, since I've been trainning with it and what not, can I finally be able to let it go... or switch them out?

You're very close now, but just as you become tangible again, you feel an immense pressure on the inside of your head. He seems to be attempting to assault you telepathically.

I try to stave off the assault, and trying to get closer, as I want to know who I am fighting who overpowers me.

Sounds fine to me.

You should be strong enough to do so now.

Plus, you have the Blue/Water/Ice Dragoon Spirit, right?

OT: Lol, it was only a matter of time :D

IC: Starting to shake, I quickly put the Townsaver away and I attempt to stab Gai with the
Water Sword (after rubbing my jaw....ouch.) and I create a water bomb in my hand and I try to get out of his grip. Meanwhile, I use my free hand to create a water Bushin, and I take out my Sightblind to show the Bushin what he should do next...

You manage to hand the bushin your sword, but just as you do so, the enraged Naruto attacks it(now thinking it's Sasuke).

Your water bomb detonates, knocking Gai away from you, but also causing you a bit of harm.

Before you can get out of town, E.G. Mine, Leonof the Puppet-master and Rai-Dei the Blade confront you.

E. G. Shoots his spikes at Mule while Leonof distracts Mitter and Nacht away from the Plant.

Rai-Dei then charges forward to confront you while Grey, Cain, and Dominique search for you amid the chaos.

Reaching behind my back, I whip out Stonecutter, slashing into the ground to send up a rock screen. Then, I double jump over the screen, one-arming my shotgun out from its sling and firing both barrels at Rai-Dei, while at the same time concentrating as much of a broadcast signal of fear at him as I can, timing it so that the intended flinch happens when the pellets are about to hit him.

After that, I whip out the rifle I've kept in storage for too long, aiming at several key points on EG's carapace.

Walking it off, I take out the Townsaver, and I then charge at Gai, with a total killing intent. I speed over to him and I attack him with Sper Strength, hoping that I would be able to get him now that he is a bit weak. During that, I use Freeze Ring on Naruto, hoping to knock him out a bit, so my Water Bushin doesn't get into total harm.

Gai may be injured, but he is still faster than you. He dances around your strikes, but you leave no opening for him to strike back. You are stalemated.

Meanwhile, your dragon seems to be losing to the Toad boss.

As for Naruto, I need to know what the freeze ring technique does.

It is a simple Ice attack. Guessing it forms a ring around its enemy.

IC: Throwing five water bombs at Gai, I hope to slow him down a bit. Using a bit of my ice power (From the Dragon) I freeze the water on the ground to make is slippery for Gai. Since he is going so fast, he might slide and leave himself open. If that does happen, I then take my chance and attack him!

Rai-Dei, due to your fear broadcast, stops dead in his tracks and takes both your shotgun slugs straight in the head.

EG's carapace blows apart as he looks at yoy in bewilderment.

A gunshot cracks through the air as your left arm goes numb with pain. Seems like Cain managed to find you and hiot you.

Looking up, you see Grey, Dominique, and Leonof (he broke away from the Werewolves) charges toward your wounded self.

I let Block absorb the magic, as I use a mixture of my own(all types) to deflect the onslaught. I then trace the emanations back to their source, and unleash a torrent of magic at it.

Naruto's aura fades, and he backs away, arms waving as if to fend off an inevitable blow or stern admonishment. Gai slams back down into the ground with an overhead kick, shattering the ice and making a small crater.

Creating my Bushin, I quickly send him over to Gai, and I walk over to Naruto, hopefully, he won't notice that I'm not Sakura. If he doesn't, then I gather all of my enegry and I slam my fist into his face.

You manage to knock Naruto out cold, though Gai is making quick work of your water bushin(it being only 1/10th your strength).

Gamabunta knocks out your water dragon, and looks over to you(who are still, I take, holding Sightblinder). He looks at you with a puzzled expression and asks "Is that you, Gamakichi?"

"Oh, shit!" I cry, cradling my wounded arm with my good one as I see them approach. Backpedalling as fast as I can, I try to make it to cover.

If I do: First I grope around in my pack for that really old, long-forgotten vial of unknown liquid that I've been afraid to use until now. I figure that I'm as close to death now as I'll ever be, so bottoms up.

If I don't make it to cover: I'm going to double jump into the air, closing my eyes at the same time to avoid Dominique's hypnosis. While in midair, I'm going to fish out the vial, and drink it the same as above.

Caught off guard, I blush and quickly say "Yes Gamabunta!". Calling back my Bushin, I then show the sword to Gai also, but keeping some of it on Gamabunta. This time I make a water blanket around my front, so if he does a dynamic entry or something like that... I'm a bit prepared.

Yes! Okay, for my level up, I decide to get a Shriagan.

Yes, oh, and keep your Sharingan out and ready.

You walk into a place where theres four graves lying around. Looking around, you see see venom stains on the ground. In a sudden, a huge snake lunges at you. Then a guy appears holding a sword and four people are behind him. He then forms several hands signs and one by one, the people die, and the bodies come out of the grave. A black hair guy comes out, and instantly creates a thick bush around you. Another guy with white hair uses this weird hand signal, a wave of water comes at you. A elderly man comes and summons a White Ape, which then lunges at you. A yellow haired guy comes up, and starts to create this sphere in his hand, and then he launches it towards you.

If that is to much.. tell me. But I think you can handle it... with some creativity.

Not that it's too much, but I'm pretty sure Orochimaru CAN'T use Edo Tensei on the Third and Fourth, seeing as how their souls are in the belly of the Shinigami(btw, Shinigami is what I've decided to call this avatar, Shin for short).

First, I use the sharingan to memorize the 2nd's move(letting my sand shield stop the snakes) I then use my iron sand to sever the bush, and leap high into the air(over the wave), then letting my sand keep me aloft. I let my gourd become a suna bushin, and send it to intercept Enma, holding the Samehada. I then hurl dozens of sealed kunai over the battlefield, using my magnetic chakra to guide them precisely where I please. As I do this, I activate my curse seal lvl 2, which increases my strength, speed, and chakra output 10x(and considering I already have Kisame's lvl of chakra added to my own, my total chakra lvl should now be higher than all 5 of them combined). I summon two kage bushin, one bearing the puppet, one with a scroll and paintbrush. I then place two seals on myself: one on my bijuu(which will sadly cut off its extra chakra and auto sand shield for the fight, but will make me untouchable to Shodai's bijuu control), and one around my forehead, protecting it from Orochimaru's body-switch(since my curse seal is self-inflicted, it should be immune to his manipulations).

And creative, you say? How about the following:

I briefly touch my iron sand(I am immune to the poison its laden with), and use Hira Banshou: Bouka no jutsu to adopt its properties to my skin and organs. I then use my dead bone pulse bloodline to protrude multiple harder-than-steel bone spikes from my body, and use baika no jutsu to become an iron-and bone ball of death. Using my magnetic chakra much like a particle accelerator or railgun, I spin my iron body(and project it) at immense speeds(many times faster than a bullet). I then propel myself directly at my foes, using my hybrid eyes to predict how and when they'll dodge or try to defend, and use the Yellow Flash technique to teleport through any defenses. After I slam and poison them multiple times, I then fire the bone spikes from my body like a fragmentation grenade right in the middle of the enemy group.

I call this number: Giant Iron Death Bone Claymore.

And as this is happening, of course, my two bushins are using the puppet and Choju Giga on them as well.

OT: Do you wanna take them on all? I mean there pretty much dead now, but I still have a few techniques up my sleeve.

Then Orchi uses his sword and kills the second Hokage and the First hokage and, he brings back The Third Hokage and the Fourth.

The Shiki Fuin require two kage bushin per summoner, and also requires physical contact with the victim by the demon. Not gonna happen here. You see, Bouka no jutsu allows the user to break his body into multiple segments and re-form. So, I seperate my iron sand body into multiple fragments(first transforming my bones into it as well), and let it join with the rest of the iron sand, then scatter into thousands of Satetsu Shigure pieces, and move to lop the heads off the Third and Fourth(as well as killing thir bushin before they can complete the seals). This combats the Shiki Fuin in multiple ways: first, I kill the bushin and the users before they can finish the summon. Secondly, I am broken into bits, so they can't seal all of me. Third, I'm mixed in with the normal Iron Sand, so they won't be able to tell me apart from it.

OT, I take it the shiki fuin was done before I could finish my iron ball of doom? So does that mean Oro, the 1st and 2nd are still alive?

Coupla other things:

IIRC, there's only one god of death, and thus there cna't be two summoned at the same time. Also, I doubt one impure summon can be sacrificed to bring back another, especially if they are trying to brink back someone from the Shinigami(didn't Oro's resurrection jutsu fail because he couldn't bring the 4th back from the Shingami's stomach?)

Ok, , even though our battle isn't yet through, here's your next:

After Gamabunta hops away and you rest a bit, you see what appears to be a smaller version of the man you beat before, and a large-chested woman. The woman angrily bashes her fist into a tree, shattering it and announcing their prescence to you.

OT: One which puppet do I have, and do I have the Charkra Control Lines? Second, can I get a moment to catch my breath?

IC: Turning my Sharigan I walk with the Sightblind tightly in my hand.

OT: If I have a choice, then I would like either Hiruko or Karasu. Or even the Sandime Kazekage :D

Either Karasu or Kuroari. And yes, you get the chakra strings.

Also, you are fully healed for this fight.

OT: Chapter 292 is out? I've been waiting for it for a long time!

IC: Well Oro sheds his skin, and he comes out in a new body. Using my justu, I recall my sword back to me, and I then cut my self in three places. Using the blood, I summon two other snakes, and a Three Headed Snake.

The sword comes back to him all right, with an exploding note attached to it.

Since Manda isn't all that fast, I use my giant Iron Body and reshape my arm into a poison blade, extending it with a partial multi-size and impaling him. I then extend my other arm to crush Orochimaru with a partial multi-size, and let my Suna bushin, and two kage bushin assault the other two snakes with a rasengan, puppet jutsu and choju giga, respectively.

Karasu it is!

Okay, Putting on my Sharigan, I put the sightblind into my mouth, and I take out my puppet, Karasu, and I start to use my Charkra Lines. Since they will see the Sightblind, they won't notice me or my puppet. Thinking hard, I look towards the lady and the man, hoping to turn into a friend.

Oro quickly pushes away from you, and he sheds his skin, again. Feeling weak, he quickly runs away, well out of the fire zone, and he gathers his Charkra. The First and the Second Hokage use Journey into Black Darkness , which puts you in a black void where you cannot see any incoming attack. Oro then waits to see if you go back into your regular form.

They should know better than to use genjitsu on me. Using my eyes, I use the Mirror Heaven and Earth change to send the genjutsu back to the Shodai. Surrounded by darkness, he'll never see what follows coming. I create a bushin who then proceeds to create a set of demonic ice mirrors around him. Not only will the bushin move faster than he can see, but he won't be able to see the needles coming in the darkness anyway. I then use Amaterasu on the 2nd hokage, knowing the black flame is strong enough to go through pretty much any water wall. I then focus my chakra on the ground beneath, turning it into fast-flowing quicksand. My three bushin continue to deal with the snakes, as I form a dark rasengan in my hand and yellow flash to Orochimaru, shoving it in what he can't regenerate: his face.

You have a choice now. You can kill the Shodai and the Nidame, or you can let them live a bit longer to learn there justu.

The Shodai jutsu is genetic, so I doubt I can learn his techniques(save for that darkness technique, when is a genjitsu, and I just copied that). So, I'll save a bit of his hair and blood(for use after the battle), and kill him. And the Nidame hasn't shown any techniques that I haven't already learned(or are capable of reproducing on my own).

So, I'll kill em off. If that ends the fight, I'll take Sakon/Ukon's bloodline for my lvl, and merge the Shodai's cells with my own using said bloodline(and with help from the Symbiote avatar, if needed) to gain access to his Mokuton jutsu and bijuu control. I'll also snag the Kusanagi from Orochimaru(and store it, the puppet, and the Samehada in summon scrolls). For my weapon lvl, I'll take Destruction Bugs. For my jutsu, I'll take the spider-web from body-fluid jutsu and the bee-jutsu from the anime(forming bees out of honey and chakra).

*wishes he'd kept the third alive for a bit longer*

With super-fast contortions, Lee sidesteps the kunai and ducks under the gas, punching the puppet and sending it rocketing towards you.

Tsunade, meanwhile, says aloud "Orochimaru must have...no...that means your his puppet...damn you!"

Tears streaming down her face, Tsunade begins to dash towards you.

I let Block absorb the magic, as I use a mixture of my own(all types) to deflect the onslaught. I then trace the emanations back to their source, and unleash a torrent of magic at it.

You backlash is also blocked and countered, just as effeciently as you did.

It seems you are at an impass with this person or persons.

Well, you were at least.

An invisible, Class 50 fist smacks right into your stomache, while Block is being assualted by several invisble assialants, each armed with an anti-magic scythe or sword. They are slowing chipping away at his durability.

A follow up Class 50 kick to your groin area doesn't help matters either.

Question: would it be permissible for me to create a sub-avatar, now that I have Sakon/Ukon's jutsu? It's be basically the same setup as those to: I'd be dividing most of my abilities between the two, and one would normally reside in the other.

This is how I would set it up:

Shin: primary body, long-range fighter. Possesses standard chakra lvl learned over time, and Shukaku bijuu. Also has hybrid eyes, Iron sand, Shodai bloodline, Sakon/Ukon bloodline, and curse seal. Also uses puppet.

Jin: secondary body, usually lies dormant in Shin. Mostly close-range fighter. Possesses hybrid eyes, Sakon/Ukon bloodline, Haku's bloodline, Dead Bone pulse, Kisame's genetics, curse seal, and destruction bugs.

I'd also divide jutsu between the two, save that both would know sharingan/byakugan and Bouka jutsu(and each would know abilities pertaining to the blodlines they possess). Jin would know the medical jutsu, water/ice jutsu, Rasengan, Yellow Flash, Katon, Baika, and destruction bug jutsu. Shin would know the genjutsu(aside from sharingan-related), bee jutsu, spider-jutsu, choju giga, and shadow jutsu. Both would know kage bushin as well.

ok, enough playing around. When strategy fails, sometimes a grandiose display of power is called for.

Whatever this thing is, it was foolish for allowing me to enter Tel'ahran'rhiod, and even more foolish for following me there.

Here's why:

I possess the power of the Wishsong, the most powerful of all Shannara magicks. Powerful enough to transform anything. A little quote from Morrison's JLA which had Daniel as Dream saying to Green Lantern: "Your wishing ring may well have the most power here." Here in the Dreamtime, a magic like the Wishsong is unmatched in power.

Secondly, I have access to both sides of the Gift, and extensive magical knowledge. The kind to perhaps create Dreamwalkers.

Thirdly, I have both sides of the True Source.

And fourth, as discussed in many Lovecraft books, the Great Old Ones have far more power in dreams(Nyarlathotep, the Yith, and Cthulhu all use the dreams of their followers). Also, the Dreamtime is closer to the reality of the Old Ones than the real world by far. So not only are my Cerebrotic spells increased in power, but being as I once was possessed by Nyarlathotep, am now closer to his realm, and have Cerebrotic magic and the wishsong, I can now, in this transformatory world, BECOME him. The magick of the great Old Ones becomes mine, and as Brain Lumley mentions in his novels, Nyarlathotep IS telepathy, so as him, my psychic prowess is second to none.

"Whatever you are, you are unto a candle in a hurricane in this realm."

I then use my Wishong, magicks, and psychic prowess to warp all of the Dreamtime within a multi-mile radius to my whim, turning it into a void of white. There is nowhere to hide, no way to disguise itself from my perceptions, and no way to escape.

With thoughts as big as lightyears, and as hot as a white dwarf star, I reach out and extinguish this threat.

You manage to find cover while the Gung Ho Guns look for you.

You tremble slightly as you manage to open the vial and look at the strange, dark liquid. In a burst of desperation, you down the liquid.

Fire seems to wash through your viens as your entire body is super charged with a new, exhilerating power.

Yamcha and Tien teleport out of the way, and they regroup next to each other. Yamcha starts focusing his enegry into his hands as a blue sphere. Tien first uses Multi Form which creates four of him. Then he uses the technique 4 arms, where he grows 2 extra arms on each form. Two of them use Solar Flare, and one of them uses a Kamahaha blast, and the other uses a Tri Beam. Krillin comes before them and uses Kakusandan which is when he fire two blasts, then merge them together and split them so he has multiple Ki bolts coming towards you. Ok, hold the phone. There are pretty much two possibilities here:

1) Whatever I just destroyed was a seperate entity, and therefore, a seperate battle. Therefore, should I not lvl from that encounter? Because it sure as heck should be...

2) I'm facing the same entity. That is, frankly, impossible, for multiple reasons. First, because the nature of the Te'Ahran'rhiod allows one to alter the nature of another through force of will alone. In addition to said nature and force of will, I also possessed the Wishsong, which can, quite literally, turn anything into pretty much anything else on its own. Whatever followed me in must have either a physical or magical form, or mind. If it was the former two, my Cereboritc/Dreamtime/Wishong magic should have snuffed it out easily. If it was the latter, te fact that I possessed the sum totality of telepathy for a brief period makes sure I leave nothing but wet hissing shreds of consciousness. Quite frankly, there was NO WAY for it to escape while under my power. Earlier on, you had this thing casually preventing my teleportation. In the Dreamtime, I controlled the area entirely, with far more power at my disposal. Allowing something which is supposed to be only a bit stronger than myself to block my teleportation while permitting the same thing a bit later when power and the environment are entirely within my favor to escape is DM prerogative and little else. I had complete control over what came in and exited the Dreamtime while in that state, and complete control over everything in it, including whatever followed me.

So again, only two outcomes are possible(unless a sufficient alternate explanation is provided): either it was a seperate entity/battle(and should therefore be treated as such), or whatever it was is what you're now sending at me, which in that case means its already deader than dead. Either way, a level should be involved.

OT: Oooooh. Thanks greatly. :)

I've got a quick question before going on, though. In FMA, is the alchemy just a re-arrangment of your source material, or is it a total reconstruction from old materials into new ones? (say, for example, sticking a couple hydrogen atoms together to get some carbon or some lithium)

I'm thinking it's just the first case, but I'm not really sure (I've only read the first four collected volumes, sadly)

Since balefire only comes in bar form, I assume that these are multiple bars?

Very well then. I open multiple gates from all angles, allowing the balefire to pass through, then opening gates in the exact opposite direction to let the balefire go the exact same trajectory in the opposite direction. In other words, right back to the source. I then send fire-blossoms and a mixture of additive/subtractive magic to either side of the returning balefire bars, so there is no room to dodge. At the same time, I use my Wishsong much as the Key used his psychoactive chemicals: expanding my brain to add multiple new senses. With these senses, there should be no way for my opponents to hide from me now.

The puppetry jutsu is voluntary allowing control, so manipulating Lee is out of the question. So instead, you go toe-to-toe with Lee. You find that he is far faster than you, and the nature of the Suiken prevents you from predicting or copying his movements. He strikes your aura with multiple blows, his strength unfazed by the aura, and slowly chipping it away. You glance upwards, to see Tsunade falling towards you with one leg upraised.

Chouzito awaits in the mist for his time to shine....

OT: In the next battle, can I please use either: Goku (1-3) Piccolo (Kami infused) Trunks (1-super) Vegeta (1-super) Gohan (1-mystic form) Goten (1-fused 3) Chibi Trunks (1-fused 3) or Brolly (Super)?

Grim Shadow walks behind Yamcha and unleahes to lightning blasts right into his back.

Grim throws blasts toward the other three as he jumps into the sky.

''Divine Dragoon!", Grim yells, activating his Dragon Armor. Grim, useing the armors wings, floats in the air. He then gestures at the humans to bring it on.

It can be either or. However, you have to half equal mass to transfigure one thing into another.

So, ready to continue with your new found abilities?

"Thunder Bowl Cut!", a voice yells from right behind you, just as your senses pick up the figure's aura. A huge energy slash of energy hits you from behind, sending you straight into Block. As you recover, a man in a green cloak floats in the air before you. In his hands, a naked blade dancing with electricity.

You narrow your eyes as you deduce that he teleported behind you before you opened your new found senses.

Quickly disfiguring, I reform behind them. Taking out the sightblind, I clutch it with one hand, and with my other, I use my mist justu to create mist. Then I start creating water disc and I throw them at the trees (we are around trees right?) to throw them off with sound. Then I create five water strings (on the tips of my fingers) and I get ready to use them just incase.

OT: Yep. I've had some ideas I've been kicking around for a TK-based character. Some slight changes, and some of those are still usable.

IC: *shiver* "What a rush."

Testing it out (quickly, though), I clap my hands together to form the inner circle, then lay them against a bit of the cover I'm leaning against. Almost instantly, some of the boards slowly dissolve, partly turned to a fine vapor and partly transmuted into oxygen.

A slow smile crosses my face; it's a somewhat malicious grin, but after what these guys have put me through it's not unreasonable.

A sudden noise startles me, jerking my head up. I can see some of the Gung Ho Guns some distance away, searching for me. Taking aim at Dominique in my mind, I prepare to strike.

First off, I raise a small stand sort of humped up earth in front of me up to about waist height. It's made out of very finely constructed rock, very hard and strong. Now, for my attack itself.

Placing my hands together and holding them there for a bit of extra time for good measure, I reach out into the air, feeling around. There's a high concentration of dust and rock particles in the air, but that's about to change.

Lightning flashes violently as the alchemical process proceeds: The dust and rock bits clump together, held in place by the stand I made earlier. Then, I not only rearrange ambient rock into place, but prepare to extend them.

Think of it as a long rod made of extremely dense and strong rock, shooting out at incredible speeds. It's made almost like an assembly line; new layers are added to my end very quickly, forcing the opposite end out. (if you've seen Hellsing, think of the silver-trail that's used on Incognito) The result: a centimeter thick and dozens of yards long projectile that's making its way straight for Dominique.

I'm not messing around anymore.

OT: Er... If that's too much too soon, I'd be glad to dump it and rewrite that move.

I let my shields take the brunt of the impact, then reinforce them now tht I'm likely free of the dampening influence.

A teleporter, huh? Well, to cut that off quickly...

I use my Cerebrotic magic to warp the spatial geometry of the area, making standard teleportation an impossibility. Meanwhile, I use the Wishsong on my body once more, increasing its resilience and reflex speeds many times over, while focusing my Hedge Magic to cause his lightning sword to short out and zap him briefly.

"You remind me of that Grinthorn golem..."

I then refocus my Cerebrotic magic to hold him in the Grasp of Cthulhu spell(and as ts composed of Cerebrotic magic, it's a tough bugger to dispel), while also activating the true power of Spellfire: the Crown of Fire. This Crown protects me in a shield of raw magical essence that also harms any who dare attack it(and melts any weapon that comes into contact with it). This also gives me immense spell resistance(according to Magic of Faerun, it imbues spell resistance 32. That is beyond epic level, which is between 21-24. In other words, it requires deity-level ability in magic to even cast a spell on my person).

This active, I then focus both sides of the Gift, as well as both sides of the One Power on my opponent, attacking with Balefire and ropes of both sides of the Gift(while hopefully holding him fast in the Grasp spell, and preventing him from teleporting with the Crebrotic spatial warps). If I meet a shield, I pour on more magic, including Magic Missile(which, according to D&D core rules, never misses), Hedge Magic, etc. If any of my magic is reflected, Block will step in to absorb it.

Cool Beans! We need a new player!

Well at this time, I'm about a level what... 40 or whatever... so at this point of time in the game, you can start at a level 30.

Now I'm not sure if your a Naruto fan like some of us, but you can have tons of different powers and what not. Since your at this stage, get crazy.. but well, you know what I mean!

Thinking hard, I remember something. The Slug is afraid of the Frog. See it is called Jaken, and I remember it from Naruto Fever (weird how it just popped out in my head :D)

Janken
The world wide game "scissors, paper, stone" originated from China during the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220), invented by the warlords of that period. Except instead of paper, they used the open palm symbol to repersent cloth, so it's "Scissors, Stone, Cloth". The game reached Japan in the early 1640s and one variation of the game was the "Slug, Snake, Frog" variation.

In this variation, the Frog is afriad of the Snake, the Snake is afriad of the Slug and the Slug is afriad of the Frog. This is influenced by the Sansukumi way of thinking where it keeps the 3 objects in a deadlock. The fact that the Sannins use these 3 animals as summons may be the author hinting that there is no stronger one among them, and that their strength are more or less equal.

Well though I'm not telepathic, I have something very good on my hands.

I will quote from Wiki..

Sightblinder is also called the Sword of Stealth. It bears a stylized human eye engraved in white upon its hilt.

Sightblinder's verse in The Song of Swords describes its power as follows:

The Sword of Stealth is given to
One lonely and despised.
Sightblinder's gifts: his eyes are keen
His nature is disguised.
Sightblinder's powers are twofold. First, it alters the appearance of its possessor. This is not via a traditional cloaking device or holographic projection, but it alters how outside agents perceive the person carrying the Sword of Stealth. When a person looks at someone holding Sightblinder, they either believe they are looking at someone they love and trust implicitly, or someone they fear.

The illusion is complete, regardless of how perceptive or skilled in magic the target may be. One may see Sightblinder as a parent, sibling, lover, god, or leader. In a situation involving multiple targets, every person will see something completely different from everyone else. The illusion may switch from a person one fears to a person one loves and back again over the space of a single encounter. Nevertheless, the effect is so convincing that the target never doubts from moment to moment the identity of the person they are looking at. Sightblinder will disguise its bearer's voice if required. Sightblinder disguises itself as well, appearing as a cane, a scepter, another Sword, or even as nothing at all, depending on what would enhance the illusion. In practice, the effect is similar to the Mindsword in that the target will obey without hesitation most commands given to them. Unlike the Mindsword, the subject will not totally disregard their base inhibitions and are unlikely to throw their life away for the illusion, unless that is what they are naturally inclined to do.

Now I know this kinda seems pointless, but I do have a point.

I have a 50% chance of the Slug seeing a Frog. Sucking back the water strings I clutch the sword with all my might, and I shine the sword towards the Slugs.

Completing the inner circle first, I begin to form the rock in the air into a light but hard-lattice work. This lattice work is then going to be sculpted on the outside of my clothes. It can't be too heavy, or I won't be able to move effectively, so I'm not sure what the outcome of this is going to be.

What I'm doing, though, is sculpting random oblique angles from all the incoming angles I can think of. My aim is bullet deflection. I'm hoping all the angles will shunt aside bullets that come at me. I'll still take some of the impact, but hopefully I won't have a gaping wound. I'll also be ripping a bandage for my wounded arm (can't remember if I did that already).

The man in green's barrier takes care of your attacks. He also smiles as your Cerebrotic magic has no effect. Indeed, Coinspinner's aura causes your own magic to backlash at yourself.

The man in green the forms a fist and jerks it into the air. This motion causes two huge stone fists to erupt from the fround and smack yourself and Block to the graveyard ground. As soon as you hit the ground, the acid like-magic loving mist begins to form around you and Block again.

As the saloon collapses around me, I move fast. I clap my hands together, then leap for the nearest beam, stretching out as far as I can. When I finally make contact, I transmute it, but leave off the reconstruction, effectively sending all the base materials around me in an explosion of wood and air.

Using my double jump to leap sideways and diagonally around the diminishing space left to me, I deconstruct as much of the building as I can, hopefully clearing a hole for escape.

Except that I'm not using magic directly againt him or the sword, bt on the area around us. Coinspinner can only rebound a direct assault.

I didn't explain it better, sorry. :o

What I meant was that Coinspinner good luck aura wasn't being pushed back or limited like what you wanted to happen.

Coinspinner is simply to strong, even for your impressive magics. And, Coinspinner reacts to how it's current owner wants it to. In this case, the owner is fighting against you, so any sort of agression (i.e. shrinking or trying to nullify how strong the luck aura is, is a sign of agression. Thus, Coinspinner reacted and pushed your magic away/back at you.

IIRC, that is. It's been way to long since I read the series. :o

As the saloon collapses around me, I move fast. I clap my hands together, then leap for the nearest beam, stretching out as far as I can. When I finally make contact, I transmute it, but leave off the reconstruction, effectively sending all the base materials around me in an explosion of wood and air.

"One beam down."

Using my double jump to leap sideways and diagonally around the diminishing space left to me, I deconstruct as much of the building as I can, hopefully clearing a hole for escape.

You manage to escape, only to be meet by Grey again. He throws you through a nearby store wall, He then begins to chuck whatever he can get his hands on at you.

Coinspinner doesn't react how its owner wants it to. It just makes the wielder lucky at whatever he does. The wielder cannot control how the luck manifests itself. Also, the wielder cannot direct its aura in any way they wish. Remember, Coinspinner obeys only itself. It teleports away whenever it wishes to do so. My altering of the probablity fields is more to make its effects not work on me(in other words, no bad luck on myself). The sword IS likely powerful enough to nullify any attempts of mine to lessen the wielder's luck, but here's the thing: luck can't reflect spells like you've been having it. Good luck does not equal a reflection shield. Now, good luck field could cause a rock to fall int he way of a blast, or bad luck on the foe could make his spell misfire, or simply backfire(but not reflect). It is the latter which I am trying to prevent. It can give him good luck, but it won't be able to give me bad. And good luck can't reflect spells. He'll have to do that on his own.

Coinspinner:

Coinspinner gives its holder good luck, and brings misfortune on anyone trying to harm or hinder its current possessor. However, the Sword of Chance is the most unpredictable of all the Swords, having the habit of leaving its owner when they need it most.

Coinspinner's verse in The Song of Swords describes its power as follows:

Who holds Coinspinner knows good odds
Whichever move he make.
But the Sword of Chance, to please the gods
Slips from him like a snake.

Coinspinner seems to be endowed with a limited form of intelligence. Should one take one's eyes off of it, Coinspinner can teleport to a new destination and a new owner. The Sword is capable of generating distractions to achieve this purpose.

While a person holds Coinspinner, even if it remains sheathed in a scabbard, they are blessed with supernatural good luck. If they play poker, every hand wins. If they walk a tightrope, they would not fall, and if they did fall, one can be sure that the fall would somehow not harm them, and result in a personal profit.

A secondary use of the Sword is that it can function similar to Wayfinder, by pointing the user in the general direction of something they are searching for. It apparently doesn't home as strongly as Wayfinder, nor does it lead its possessor to interim goals required for successfully reaching the object of their desire. However, with the luck of Coinspinner, it is likely the user would be able to deal with any difficulty they meet with while en route.

Often Coinspinner will create a rebound effect of bad luck to its former owner after it leaves. It is not uncommon for Coinspinner to leave its master for his arch rival, with disastrous results. Therefore, Coinspinner serves as a wild card, making total control of the Swords of Power an impossible proposition. Because of this unpredictability, Coinspinner has often been the target of destruction for Shieldbreaker by those who wish to control all of the Swords.

So, here's what I'm going to do: I'm going to appeal to the sword. I've done this before, and briefly came into possession of it. IIRC, you DM preorogative'd it away from me, right, Cleric?

But this time, I don't want the sword to come into my possession. All I want is for it to be out of HIS.

So I entreat the sword, asking if it really wishes to serve one so cocksure of his own power, so evil, and so scornful of its abilities. I ask it if it wouldn't be better off serving someone more exiting, someone who could have adventures with it. After all, why would a sword as independant as Coinspinner stay long with someone like/in-service-to Grinthorn? And wouldn't now be the BEST time to leave, now when he needs it most?

And if it chooses to leave, then there's nothing the host can do about it.

Its alright, anyway, I use the wind to "fly" Superman style, while increasing my strength with TK, to ram into him

Nate manages to get a partial shield up, and that's all that saves him from getting splattered as you ram him. As is, you break a number of his ribs. Angered, he lashes out blindly with a huge wave of powered, intending to send you flying back into a cliff wall.

Edit: Posted fight response cut out because I was overcome by temporary idiocy. I'll be doing the updated one in a new post.

OT: Yeah, I did. I relized just how versatile you were and how powerful you'ld become, so Coinspinner was an ace in the hole, sort to speak. With it being so random, I figured it would be a good move. However, I relize now that I didn't pay enough attention to it's power.

IC: The world seems to stop as you stand alone in a deep blackness. Suddenly, a speck of light floats in front of you. A voice then issues from the speck.

"Who are thou, to appeal to me?".

(note: I'm assuming the Grey is the manga version with all the tiny midgets inside him, so if you meant otherwise, I'll come up with a different plan)

First, I clap then drop to the ground, transmuting a section of it to a hard and dense metal spear. Then, deciding that now would be a good time, I whip Doomgiver out from its sheathe, and hold it towards Grey with the spear in my other hand.

As I run towards Grey, I reach into his mind, making some quick emotional changes among the inner dwarves that control him. I manipulate their minds to a state of readiness - there's no strong outward emotion, and anything that comes across their mind is handled cooly. This would be a disadvantage for me, but I've got a plan. I'm going to be charging my new spear with a subtle mix of paralyzing dread and despair.

Now that my prep is over, I've got to move fast. Still keeping Grey in a calm state, I stick Doomgiver back in its sheathe, move the spear to my good hand, and throw. As I throw, I release my hold on the collective mind of Grey, hoping the former null emotion will leave Grey even more susceptible to the fear.

Immediately after throwing the spear, I launch myself towards Grey, taking out and firing both barrels of my shotgun at Grey's chest.

And for good measure, since my forward jump is going to be taking me in Grey's direction anyways, I'll do some good old destructive alchemy while I'm at it.

I was actually useing the anime version. :o

First, I clap then drop to the ground, transmuting a section of it to a hard and dense metal spear that has a conveniently low melting point. Then, deciding that now would be a good time, I whip Doomgiver out from its sheathe, and hold it towards Grey with the spear in my other hand.

Now that my prep is over, I've got to move fast. Still keeping Grey in a calm state, I stick Doomgiver back in its sheathe, move the spear to my good hand, and throw. Right after I throw, I use the gauntlets to blast behind the spear, propelling it even faster. Hopefully, it'll stick in his chest.

Immediately after throwing the spear, I launch myself towards Grey, taking out and firing both barrels of my shotgun at Grey's chest when I'm in extremely short range. After discharging, I throw the empty gun to the ground a safe distance away among the debris. Then, in one motion, I clap my hands then do two actions (if need be, I'll stick another hand hit in between). First, I use destructive alchemy on Grey's head, and next I heat up the spear to an incredible temperature, causing it to turn almost instantaneously into molten metal.
