Jeremiah’s power now includes small mammals up to dog size, lizards, amphibians, birds, and marine animals up to the size of a large jellyfish.

Lodestone: swiss army: can transform into various weaponry and tools(sword, mace, tower shield, etc). Total mass cannot exceed that of lodestone’s usual.

We are in a small labratory of a saditsic scientist in green who sends bad movies for a living.

Both of us are in opposite ends of the lab.

1. We play hide-&-seek
2. If we find each other, we fight

Okay. Start!

"Mitter, left flank. Nacht, right flank. Mule, stay behind us, and watch out back."

Slowly, I make my way forward, checking corners as I go, scanning the area around my group. My shotgun is loaded and ready to fire with pellet rounds.

The cat and mouse, hunting or hunted atmosphere is starting to get to me. I can feel myself getting nervous. I know that my party is quite protected, but that doesn't matter. Deciding to make the best of it, I let it flow around me, making sure that none of it falls into the minds of my companions.

[J Dog]

I slink off, slowly, holding my brass kncukles & honing my water powers. Then, I fire a water shot blindly by accident.

"Oh dear." I say. "Not good."

Then, I slink off while I observe some signs of disturbance.

"What was that? Mule, you see anything?"

"Squh-uh."

"Hmmm... okay. Mule, torch the part where that came from, but make sure the blaze doesn't come over this way."

As Mule tries to torch it, I grab him & interrogate him... not before dragging him to something called "Sense-o-Matic" chairs.

Frantically, I force my mind outwards, looking for Mule. Quickly finding his familiar mental signature, I reel as I feel what he's going through. Forcing myself down, I push my concern to the back of my mind and start to meditate. My long-honed control allows me to slip into a state of calm, which I then reach out to Mule with, locking it in to calm him down. Rising, I fix his position in my mind and call to my guards.

"Mitter, Nact, follow me!"

As fast as I can, I set off toward where I can feel Mule to be, my companion werewolves easily pacing me, their claws flexing in eagerness for the coming battle.

"I'm coming, Mule!"

OT: You're interrogating a Batrat that shoots flame and can't talk? :eek:

I realize that he can't talk. Then, I vanish in a flash. While I run, a million thoughts ring into my head:

"That was stupid."
"He's going to find me."
"If he finds me, I'm at a disadvantage."
"If I lose, I don't know what he will do to me?"
"If I surrender, I lose my dignity."
"If I battle, I might lose."
"I can't keep running."
"I might consider hiding somewhere."

I hide in a corner, and stare at both directions. Then , I see an open vent. I enter the vent. Meanwhile, Mule returns to you, Cheven.

"Okay, let's go. Lead the way, guys."

As we go, I mentally scout ahead, feeling about, ready to blast with a fear command at the first sign of trouble.

In anger, I create a giant wall of water.
(Let's end this soon... I have to log off in 25 minutes & I won't be back till Tomorrow Morning).

"What... the... hell? Mule, ice that thing."

As Mule proceeds, I reach out with my mind past the water wall, feeling around, then deciding to give up and just blanket that area in a fear command.

I also unload the pellet shots, and load a couple slugs, then fire through randomly at the barrier.

I create a water-based fist, crash it through the barrier, and slam it right at you.

I mean, in the game's settings, he could, but it's not like I'm able to say, "I did such and such, that means you're curled in a fetal position over in the corner, you can't do what you want to", can I? That'd be... well, unethical, and kinda against the spirit of the game.

Not really much time to discuss now, though. I guess we'll talk before the fight.

Grinthorn places his hands in front of Erik's face and unleashes a hellish amount of Ki energy at point blank range. Grinthorn phases out as Erik is blown through several large Red Wood like trees*.

The first couple of spells hit Grinthorn and send him flying backward, however, his hands seem to glow a dullish red when he stands up. He then uses his hands to start batting the spells back at you,matching your speed to a T.

I create two copies, one of which then takes planarian worm as well as fly speed, the other immediately goes into plant form. The 1st dupe uses the silence rune(as Jeremiah prime uses the light rune for distraction) and zooms at full speed to the Null Mage's corpse. While the 2nd dupe and Jeremiah prime keep Grinthorn occupied with magic and plant abilities, dupe 1's body becomes elongated, jellylike, and translucent. A planarian worm usually digests its prey by flowing over them and absorbing them. Before, I ate the brains of the 4th Hokage for martial arts knowledge. Currently, I digest the Null Mage at 10x speed in order to gain further magical knowledge. Dupe 1 quickly digests the Null Mage and is reabsorbed by Prime. Jeremiah then duplicates the movement-reading abilities of a wolf in addition to his fly speed.

Not only that, I have your student's knowledge. I can now predict, copy, and counter any magic you throw at me at 10x human speed. And anthing you use that you haven't taught him, I will very quickly learn."

Zoul: Yes, I did underestimate them. Luckily, when that fool Hedge Mage ate my corpse, my soul was able to use his own magic and plant lifeforce to regenerate my body.

Jeremiah copies planarian regeneration and paramecium duplication, healing himself(with the lodestone helping) and creating 2 other duplicates(there is still the one with plant powers running around).

"Good move, but I still possess your knowledge." Jeremiah prime and one of the new dupes(call him 1) once again grab the powers of a fly and move-reading of a wolf, while the 2nd dupe(called 2) mimics fly and a mantis shrimp. The plant dupe(call him plant) moves in next to 2.

All of the Jeremiahs grin. "I may have a bit less raw magical power than you both, but now me and my dupe can counter and duplicate your every move, while my other two dupes take you down."


Grinthorn: Fool.*Seperates himself into three*. You may be able to match and counter my magic, but you can't match my Chi/Ki abilities. Especially since they are inately born to me, much like Zoul's Null-Field.

The Grinthorns will likely dispel the water in moments, but not before dupe 2 gets a chance to do a little trick: with the mantis shrimp power, he punches the water.

Sonoluminescence has created a stir in the physics community. The mystery of how a low-energy-density sound wave can concentrate enough energy in a small enough volume to cause the emission of light is still unsolved. It requires a concentration of energy by about a factor of one trillion. To make matters more complicated, the wavelength of the emitted light is very short - the spectrum extends well into the ultraviolet. Shorter wavelength light has higher energy, and the observed spectrum of emitted light seems to indicate a temperature in the bubble of at least 10,000 degrees Celsius, and possibly a temperature in excess of one million degrees Celsius.

Actually, in this case it's based on wishful thinking. The bubbles only occur at several points determined by the shape of the soundwaves. And the light emission only occurs during several picoseconds.

Size and mass of the shrimp don't figure into it at all.

As the bubbles themselves are only a micrometer in diameter when the light is emitted, the best you can do is sear a few dead skin cells off his surface - there won't be any of the bubbles inside his body.

In addition, you won't get fusion. You only have normal water, no heavy water.

Also, I know the process isn't quite sonoluminescence(wasn't the snapping shrimp's version called shrimpoluminescence or something equally silly?). As far as heavy water goes, that's easily done with my lodestone.

And the size of the bubble does matter, Lost_Bat, as well as the temperatures involved. A larger mass and collapse of a larger bubble will cause much more heat(if not a longer duration), which could potentially cause the fusion. But Chevan is correct, it would likely require multiple bubbles.

Aside from the fact that I'm beginning to think he's unbeatable by me: yes, I suppose I am.

From beneath the ki-manipulating mage, plant-form Jeremiah emerges from the soil, but he's not alone. Several Saibamen are with him, snarling and grinning maniacally. The multiple Jeremiah duplicates, along with the Saibamen, dogpile the three opponents without reservation. Each of the dupes adopts one of three powers in addition to those of a Sand Wasp(which is much faster than a fly, I've discovered): Jellyfish neurovenom, necrosis-inducing poison from a brown recluse, and hallucinogens from a poison dart frog. Each moves at immense speed, hoping to touch the villians just once to deliver their dreadful payload(I'm imagining about 9-12 dupes from all the body parts, so about 3-4 of each power. Also about 9 saibamen in all).

Thumbing out the smoking cartridges, I reload by feel, snapping it closed and raising the gun to point at the Whipper's chest. His mind is a well, fear writhing under the surface, pain darting across the top as his breathing shifts him onto his wound. Reaching out, I touch his mind, bringing the fear up to the foreground and at the same time, augmenting it with my own fear influence.

"You've got about ten seconds to explain, buddy."

If it was up to me, I'd rule that all the separated worms, who regenerated their brains after all, thought that they were the original Jeremiah, and were quite prepared to violently defend that claim after the fight. He kicked Zoul away then ran out of the Null Field, allowing his healing factor to take over.

As the Chaos field expands towards the duplicates, they quickly turn to plant form and dive into the ground. One of the Jeremiahs leaves his hand sticking out, grasping the lodestone, which spews out a thin beam of light, turning the mage's clothes to enriched uranium. That Jeremiah then pops back out, countering any magical attempts by Grinthorn to change his clothes back magically with knowledge stolen fron the Null Mage.

"Ki can't manipulate atoms, and I can counter any attempt you use at magic."

Grinthorn raises his energy shield, deflecting all the energy blasts. He then teleports behind Jeremiah (Prime) and unleashes a point blank blast at the back of his head. This causes Jeremiah to be blasted into the nearby moutain.

Just as you get up, a big Barbarian weilding a sword charges you. He scores a hit on your shoulder, throwing you backward into a tree.

How strong are the blows Zoul is throwing?

Not only does Magnus wear the Alchemage armour but it's covered in ferrous metals (which is as thick as his Magna Armour). Neither of which breaks easily.

OT: Since Zoul is near you, his Null-Field is stopping you from healing and such.

Magnus ran out of said nullfield. That's how he was able to get the healing factor working again.
