Buried Alien

It's a grim thing to consider, but needs to be acknowledged. Hurricane Katrina was everything that it was predicted to be and then some, but it's possible that it isn't the last one...even for this hurricane season.
Evacuations in New Orleans are still ongoing, and people are beginning to talk about what to do about cleaning up and rebuilding the city. But what if another Category 4 or 5 hurricane hits the area in the near future? Current climate patterns (due to global warming?) certainly make that a possibility. In its current, weakened state, another Category 4 or 5 hurricane in that region could truly obliterate what's left in Katrina's aftermath.
Maybe the entire Gulf Coast will no longer be suitable for long-term human habitation. It's a possibility. Who could possibly face something like this two or three times a year?
