Born on the 3rd of June 1969 in the lovely town of Maux (France).

Olivier Ledroit completed his studies at the Academy of Higher Arts, and almsot immediately afterwards he started work as a comicbook artist. "Le signe des ténèbre" his first work as a comic artist, was a smashing succes and met with great reviews. Soon afterwards Ledroit produced two additional comics, which confirmed the succesful birth of a new series titled: "Chroniques de la Lune Noir" (Chronicles of the Dark Moon). Ledroit produced five installments in total before moving on to different projects.

Most notable works: Sha, Xoco, Silo, and Requiem Chevalier Vampire (Requiem Vampire Knight)

My first introduction to his work was on Sha, where I have to admit I was less than impressed. The cover had lured me in, but the actual pages didn't work for me, but it grew on me, and I started to appreciate his style.
Next I encountered his work was while he produced Requiem, which fell extremely well with me.

Warning: this is a European product, so expect nipples galore, and boobs flopping around like nobody's business.

Some samples of his works, which follow the strict rules of CBR:

Chronicles of the Dark Moon, third cover contains boobs, so cannot be posted:

I also have Sha and Requiem and I do like Requiem a lot better than Sha both in content and in artwork (at least in Requiem all the characters have a reason to be completely amoral bastards.) I believe he also has done a lot of work on Judge Dredd.

I haven't seen Louis Cooper yet, so I will pick that up whenever I'm at the comic shop again.
