I found a scanlation of Biomega on www.omanga.net (http://www.omanga.net/) and it looks pretty good.
I dont know if the rumor's true or not but it appears as though Nihei isnt working on it anymore.
Does anyone know what he's currently working on?

If memory serves, Nihei realized that he had no plans for Biomega, and no idea what to do with it, so he stopped making it before he did something really stupid.

At the moment, I believe he's decided to hold off until he has something to do. That, or he might be working on that continuation of Blame I have heard about.

I really enjoy what I have read of this manga. I have not read Blame!, but I really want to after reading most of this.

Just discovered it myself. I really like Blame!, and now I hope that this gets hauled over here soon as well, 'cause it's everything I liked about Nihei's work, turned up to 10.

It's a LOT less confusing to follow than the action in Blame! so often is, and Nihei's drawings have become much more clear and easier to read. He's showing a new penchant for choosing to illustrate action as if filmed by high-speed camera, illustrating a gunshot with the bullet just leaving the chamber (he does that a lot in the first volume), or the moment just before impact as a character subsequently smashes through multiple walls. And the way his hero rides a motorcyle... insane.

Definitely one I want to see brought to the States. He's onto the second series now, it would seem, with irregular releases in Ultra Jump. I believe this is his most current manga.

I picked up volumes 1 & 2 of Biomega... while on vacation in Japan. I also got one volume of Abara. Of course, I can't read any of it and have to wait for online translations.

I thought I heard while Blame! was slow and showed long periods of time, Nihei planned Biomega to be very fast and to show action sequences that take place within moments and the general story takes place within days. Like Inkthinker said, it's like action filmed on high speed film.
