Anybody else like Chronicles of Riddick?

That movie has slowly become a favourite of mine. Exspecially the beginning where Riddick takes out the mercs (ala batman) on that ice planet.

Plus, it made me a fan of Alexa Davros (she was Kyra).

I was thoroughly disappointed in the movie.

The first film is excellent and the animated film set in between the two live action movies was pretty good.

The video-game *was* better, I agree.

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. It felt like it didn't really start until the Necromongers got intro'd, but once they showed up it got going.

It would have been as good if Riddick hadn't been written as a total bad-ass, though.

Heh. I didn't like the Necomongers that much. It was cool how they destroyed the cleric's planet's defenses/space flleet, though. :)
