House of M #5 confusion - please explain the fight scene with Gwen

I'm really confused by the art in one panel of House of M. After the fight scene between Mystique's SHIELD team, and the heroes, there's a page that shows the SHIELD team confused, and Mystique slapping Logan at the top of the page. Rogue confronts the little girl Layla, and in the bottom panel there's a wide shot of Spiderman and Warbird. But standing behind Warbird on this panel, and the second panel, is Gwen Stacy. And it definitely isn't another character -- Gwen with her blonde hair, and black hair band.


If it were one appearance, I could dismiss it as a joke. It's obviously part of the plot, but what's going on? It's not a hallucination of Spider-Man, because there's no spidey in the second panel from the top.

What gives?

It is another character. I believe it's the New White Tiger. Though I forget her name off hand.

Ok, I just had to go and recheck the issue. Look closer, the hair isn't blonde. It's actually a silvery white. The character is actually Black Cat, not the New White Tiger. :)

Thanks for that. It really looks a lot like Gwen to me still, so was pretty confusing.
