Once apon a time when there was such a thing as double features. Cartoons played before the movie started. Looney tunes, bety boop, superman. You also got to see a couple of short subjects. laurel and hardy, or the three stooges amoung others. also a news documentry. and all for 25 cents. except on dish nights when you also got a new dish so you could collect the whole set and or play bingo!

aren't you glad when you go to the movies today you can buy a box of raisenets for only 5 bucks!

Those Fleisher toons are so awesome.

If you ever saw "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow", you should instantly recognize the similarities between the giant robots used in the movie, and the robots in the episodes titled, "Mechanical Monsters". ;)
