Forgive me if this has already been posted elsewhere but does anyone know if the New Avengers harcover has been plagued by any of the rrors that other marvel trades have had lately? This is the New HC for issues 1-6. Any good extras? An intorduction?

As far as I could tell from the one I saw at Barnes & Noble, it was small-sized and it didn't even have the stuff from the "Director's Cut" in it. I wouldn't buy it.

Too overpriced. I can't believe Marvel didn't make this a paperback trade.

Can you elaborate on this error thing?

Can you elaborate on this error thing? Two or three Marvel hardcovers in the last few years have had printing problems where one page's dialogue balloons are superimposed on another page, or something along those lines.

It's rare, but it happens.

No errors in the one I picked up, but no extras at all. Was as cheap as a TPB in the shop I picked mine up in, which is the only reason I bought it.

No extras, no oversize?

No way I'm buying.

Yeah, you might as well stick with the good old bag and boarded individual issues for the bonus content, especially with the director's cut.

Although it is pretty nice package in hardcover format along with being able to read it all in one sitting.

This may sound weird, but I really can't stand it when a hardcover is so small. I just don't feel it's worth the treatment when it's as slapdash as this, and I actually prefer the individual books to a standard-size hardcover that actually contains less than the individual issues I bought. I guess it could be worse though, it could be like DC did it, putting one-third of Hush in a hardcover. I mean, what the hell was that?

Yeah that Hush thing was pretty bad, they're doing the same with For Tomorrow too.

Saw it today yeah
And it seems like a bump, in fact looking at what Marvel has churned out from this series so far seems a bit like a bump
You'd be better off just picking up the singles IMO

That said, I wouldn't be shocked to see actual hardcovers (the good kind) of this stuff at some point. DC is releasing "Hush" in an Absolute Edition, after all.
