Status of Arkon the Mighty?

Can anyone describe the appearances of the Avengers opponent "Arkon" who threw lightning bolts to travel between dimensions? He appeared once or twice in the Avengers, circa 74-75, and in an Xmen annual when he "dated" Ororo/Storm I think. He also woed Thundera and appeared in the Fantastic 4.
How many times has he appeared in the Avengers, and what was his final status? Where is he now?

(Hurry! Clint's future may depend on it... :D )

Also, what was his fascination with the Scarlet Witch to begin with?
As I recall Iron Man made some sort of machine that reassembled the energy rings that were disintegrating... and Thor powered it, but I don't know if that was two separate occassions or not. (Issue #84?)

I can't give you all his appearances, but his last one was in Avengers (v.3) 15-17. He's still ruling over his world of Pellucidar, and everything there is pretty much OK. He was briefly wiped from existence during JLA/Avengers, but the cosmic reset button was hit at the end of that one, so it's all good.

His most recent appearance, as far as I'm aware, was in JLA/AVENGERS, where his dimension was destroyed by Krona.

Since the Crime Syndicate's world was also destroyed in that same sequence and they've returned, I wouldn't call the destruction final, though.

He is currently ruling his planet Polemachus, alongside his mate Thundra.

He has run into the Avengers many times over the years--often needing help in saving his planet when something goes wrong with its energy rings; he had a few appearances in early volume 1 where he tried to win the love of the Scarlet Witch.

He attacked the West Coast Avengers after Wonder Man played "Arkon" in a movie. He turned up in AWC #75 as well, using them and the Fantastic Four as pawns in some scheme (this was also when his romance with Thundra began).

In Avengers #358-359, Arkon came to the Avengers for help in saving the planet yet again.

He turned up in early issues of Quicksilver's solo series.

He was in volume 3 #17-18, when the Wrecking Crew invaded Polemachus.

And his last appearance was in JLA/Avengers #1.

I'm sure he's made other appearances, but those are the ones I know of.

Same reason he ever kidnapped anyone: He thought she could reenergize the plot devices... er, rings around his planet.
