Early Avengers artist and long time silver age Marvel creator Jack Kirby has been honored with an on-line museum opening up just this week. The announcement (teased in The Jack Kirby Collector last issue) was said to impact the future of comic collecting as we know it.
In fact, here on CBR, somewhere, we speculated on what it might be... and those comments have appeared in the letters pages of the LATEST Jack Kirby Collector issue which also springs the August 28th start date of the museum.
I've done a Google search for the announcement and found many copies of the press release dated July 6th, but no hits listing the actual website.
