NPR's Fresh Air (http://www.npr.org/templates/rundowns/rundown.php?prgId=13) is doing a hip hop focus this week. Most of the interviews (I think) are repeats, but if you haven't heard them before, they're new to you.
If you missed the show yesterday, Gross spoke with DJ Kool Herc, Melle Mel and Grandmaster Flash (who gave a kind of audio commentary track to the first minute or two of "The Adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel"). Today, she'll be presenting interviews with Darryl McDaniels (that's DMC of Run DMC) and LL Cool J.
