Soulfire and Fathom have so many spinoffs now I can't keep up. Soulfire:The Dying of the Light is a new series. Aspen Seaons goes into the history of The Black. Cannon has his own series coming out. Fathom restarted with a new creative team. Thought I'd post this link if you've been a little lost too as far as everything new coming out for Aspen.

Are these good stories? I know nothing about them. I think I may be the only person who isn't a fan of Turner's art which is what usually keeps me away.

I like the stories of all the books. It's good, entertaining fantasy material and J.T. Krul is not a bad writer.
So far we have:
Fathom (Vol. 1) --> the Top Cow series
Aspen --> limited series, introducing a new character (Khiani) with a new agenda
Aspen Extended edtion --> features an extended ending.
Fathom: Dawn of War --> miniseries. Building up the war between humanity (Maylander) and the Blue. Khiani's agenda is explored and Aspen returns.
Cannon Hawke #0 --> tie-in to DoW with Cannon's p.o.v.
Fathom Prelude --> a self-contained adventure set in Aspen's youth.
Fathom (Vol. 2) --> ongoing series. We get to know more about the Black (another race of undersea people) and Aspen's history with them.
Cannon Hawke --> mini series that will tie-in to that.
Aspen Seasons --> anthology with short stories about the Aspen properties.
---
Soulfire --> SciFantasy series with lots of Dragons and SciFi stuff-
Soulfire: dying of the Light --> "Origin" of the race Grace belongs to
---
Ekos --> only a preview has been released so far. Fantasy series (furry stuff).

I like em'. I'm a newer Michael Turner fan though. I only found out about him last year so I've been playing catch up. But I love his artwork so that's part of the attraction for me. The stories can be a little weak and all over the place sometimes especially with so many spinoffs but they're ok. I get a little confused sometimes on who is who because a main character will mention another character's name that I'm not familiar with if it's not referrenced well. Or they mention a name but I can't remember who that character is if he/she hasn't been mentioned for a couple of issues. The problem with Soulfire and Fathom is because they've changed creative teams, the issues have been severely delayed a couple of times. Sometimes I wonder if I should have waited for the trades to come out for these but I guess I like them enough to want to keep getting the single issues. They've kept me hooked so far.
Check out the original Fathom issues to get some back story. It was under Top Cow and you can get it as a trade now. And Apsen:The Extended Edition came out last year as a mini-trade. It's also got some back story as far as the Fathom series. It's kind of a prequel to the new Fathom series out now.

I love M Turner's work but I have to be honest, his late turn arounds and constant spin-offs made me stop picking up the books. Maybe when things get back in order and consitent I will start again...
