a publisher worthy of investigation is narwain, advertising in this month's previews. Two full page color ads, hyping their "hottest creators" but not specifying them all in the previews listings for their titles (I see a lot of various, or unknown writers), yet they've hooked some great artists like Jay Anacleto for a cover, and Jimmy Palmiotti.
Their website has only a 1 page preview (uncolored for most) or cover shot for their titles. And their website lists artists, but not their writers (I hope they didn't do the website copy, for example under subscription "You will contact as soon as possible").
