100 Bullets TPBs

i just finished reading vol. 7 of the 100 bullets TPB

haven't read any other volumes, and needless to say, i'm confused as hell.

which volume should i purchase next to get the most caught up on whats happening?

or is it the type of book where i have to read 1-6 to get what's happening in 7?

help me out.. :)

Mate, for a story like this one, you'll need to start from the beginning. So pick up 1-6 and 8. You won't be disappointed.

7 (SAMURAI) is a tough one to start out with. Loop and Lono first ran into each other in 3 (HANG UP ON THE DOWN LOW) and Jack first appeared in 4 (A FOREGONE TOMORROW).

So, yeah, 100 BULLETS is one of those "start from the beginning" titles.

I agree with the other guys. Gotta start from the beginning
The trades are deff. worth the money though.. I reccomend them to everyone.
I think the series gets even better with each trade.

As noted, buy 'em all sequentially. It's worth it.

If your gonna get into 100 Bullets do so quickly because the sooner you start the less you will have to catch up on.

Unless the intention is to just pick them up in trade. In which case, take your sweet time. :D

i have a hard time hunting down issues before vol. 7. i'll just have to continually check back at my comic shop. worst comes to worst, i'll have to order online. anyway, thanks for the help.

just read it the second time, btw, and it made a lot more sense. still a lot of questions, which im sure would be answered if i read the first 6 volumes.
