However, Post-Crisis Kryptonian materials don't automatically become "super" under a yellow sun the way they did Pre-Crisis. So the metal used by Gog must have been exceptional, and made by Kryptonian über-tech...you wouldn't expect just any sharp object from Krypton to be able to hurt Supes.
