Yes, yes he does. They are ancient kryptonian artifacts with two superpowers...

Clinging (thus keeping them on Clark's face)
And a projecting a powerful hypnotic suggestion that the person wearing them is NOT Superman. For example if I put them on no one would think I was Superman. Obviously this is a power with limited utility...

Lots of people give Superman a hard time for his disguise, but it works. I've tired it.

Once I took off my glasses and started walking around and tights with my underwear outside my pants and nobody would admit that they knew who I was.
