Hmmm..... that doesn't look TOO much like Jennifer Connelly, does it? ;)
But it all looks very cool. I can't wait.

I totally love it.
I don't know if you ever read ALIAS, but in the UNDERNEATH arc (where Jessica Drew guest-starred), Gaydos really made her look like Connelly...

ooo, I love that! Spider-Woman has given me a whole new type of love for women super-heroes.

Cho's art is good and I am looking forward to the NA arc, not a big fan of the Luna's brothers stuff, but hey each to his/her own. It is no skin off my nose since I will not be getting the spiderwoman limited or ongoing.

I don't want to be negative but I hate the Luna brothers art very boring and simple. I'll probably still buy the series though

I think those are some very nice panels of Brandy -- er, I mean Jessica, there. :) Mr Cho's art is always pleasing.

She does look like Brandy, doesn't she?
(I would love if Cho had been chosen for the upcoming SW solo book!!! :)

I wonder if the pic of Spider-Woman with the flag is the new Wizard cover that she is getting.

Any idea as to when that Wizard with Spider-Woman on the cover will be released?

I don't know when the Wizard cover is coming out. At San Diego Mike Cotton from Wizard said that he was having a Spider-Woman cover done by either Cho, Finch, or someone else I can't remember, he said which ever one out of the 3 had time to do it would get it.

What's funny is that Cho redrew the most important parts of the Spider-Woman Giant Sized special so there's no need to buy it now ;) :p
Looks sweet though, looking forward to it and wondering if that dude is really Modred the Mystic.

I don't see why everyone is flaming each other here. Art is about taste. Frankly, I hate the Luna brothers' style -- always have and always will. On the other hand, I very much like Mr. Cho's style -- always have and always will. People should be able to disagree over matters of taste without getting in each others' faces about it.

Dear Cho,
How does she fly with those enormous breasts? It's a wonder she can even keep her balance standing up. Also, you got a little eyeliner on your male character there. Might wanna take a look at that.
Dear Luna Bros.,
As always, you draw beautifully.

It's just that one page...probably a flashback that connects the whole thing...

That is guy only identified as Connelly in the recent Giant Sized Spider-Woman book.
He told her that he was a fan of the old Jessica, and he offered to fully restore her powers and he also said that she deserved a new chance, with a catch of course.
(That page is virtually a recreation of Mays' scene on the GSSW...probably as a flashback in the NA issue.)

I'm looking forward to the Cho issues of NA. Even with the "recap", I still want GS SW because it's next to impossible for me to find a decent copy of the back issues down this way!
Although I've never followed a Luna Bros. comic, I'm interested in their visual interpretation of Jessica. Strangely, I think that their understated style might be very appropriate for a Spider-Woman story. The one piece that I've seen reminds me of the best elements of the Infantino and Leiloha issues. Bring on the "Origin" mini!

She's flies the same as Powergirl, Starfire, Supergirl, etc.
The big butt of hers counterbalances her big boobs when she stands.
What eyeliner? I think you're looking at men's face too closely.

You are correct. It's a flashback page.
Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Anyone think that looks a little too much like Brandy from Cho's Liberty Meadows..?
other than that the possible reuse of Brandy :p I love Cho's artwork (anyone read zombie king? heh .. heh .. heh ..)!
I can't wait for his work on the Spider Woman arc in New Avengers.

I tried trying to make Jessica different from Brandy. But her desciptions were so similar to Brandy that it was next to impossible for me to draw her different.
Jessica/Spider-Woman - Long straight black hair with part in the middle, blue eyes, girl next door sexy.

I promise that I'm trying not to be a Canon Nag, but doesn't Jessica have green eyes? Frank can't be taken to task over such a minor detail, because Finch constantly drew Jessie with brown eyes. I'll chalk it up to to colored contact lenses :)
Also, I didn't think of Brandy when I saw the promo art. The resemblance was superficial, because Jessica seemed to have her usual edge that seemed nothing like Brandy to me. IMO.
