Pat Robertson is pretty much on everyones mind right now. Has he cracked ? Is he losing it and his good Christian values ? So I found an Interview in my files and its one that points that Pat was close to losing It.

*************************************

The show starts as Pat welcomes us to the 700 Club. He has a special Interview with...Jesus tonight. Yes Pat Robertson will talk to Jesus and the 2 will talk about the topics.

Pat Robertson: " So Jesus , whats it like to be reconized at starting a World Wide religion ? Is it all you would have dreamed of years ago as Carpenter ? "

Jesus : " I am very touched by it all , Pat. I preach Love and togethorness and forgiveness. Though one thing bothers me and its the Killing in my name . Why ? "

Pat Robertson: " Yes that is bad. Whats your take on those Muslim assholes ? "

Jesus: ( gettin uncomfortable) " Uhh Pat , I preach peace and love. Everyone must follow who they believe on. "

Pat Robertson: " Peace & Love ? Ok Jesus what about Satan and his future War in Armageddon ? Cleary you must have negative thoughts there."

Jesus: " As I have said , My father's will be done and he will always be the answer. We will win Pat because as Christians you believe and that is the answer."

Pat Robertson: " But instead of a costly War with Satan why not let us go and send the Special Op's in and assasinate Satan. Take him out before it costs us so much. "

Jesus: " Pat, that is against the 10 Coomandments that my Father has laid down. You do know.." Thou Shalt Not Kill " don't you ? "

Pat Robertson: " No I didn't say Kill. I said take out ."

Jesus: " You said Kill , Pat. Please do not break another Commandmant and Lie to the Son of God."

It sorta broke down right there. Pat tried saying that God punished the homosexuals and all for 9/11 and Jesus correcting him. At the end I doubt he'll be back on there anytime soon.

Not surprising.

He and Jerry Falwell say dumb stuff all the time that really has little to do with Christianity or even just common sense.

One of my favorite Falwell quotes is "Blow 'em all up, in the name of the Lord" in reference to either the war in Iraq or the war on terrorism... or quite possibly whatever group that he has chosen to hate at that moment.

It used to drive me nuts... especially since my great aunt eats up everything they say. But, I just ignore them now.
