Just how fast he is? Has he ever been clocked in at a certain speed?

Strength wise, he's mildly superhuman, right? Any nice strength feats?

And what exactly is the deal with his mace? He can make Superman's nose bleed with a single hit and hurt even Despero...?

Oh, and how tough is Carter...? Specific feats would be appreciated, thanks. :)

Hawkman has displayed different powers over the years. Originally, the Golden Age Hawkman, Carter Hall, could simply fly and lift great weights aloft thanks to the anti-gravity properties of the Ninth Metal in his wings and belt. Carter also armed himself with a variety of antique weapons from his vast personal collection.

The Silver Age Hawkman, Katar Hol, could also fly and lift heavy weights thanks to the Nth Metal in his wings and belt. Katar also adopted the use of ancient weapons when he arrived on Earth. Thanks to a Thanagarian device known as the Absorbacon, Katar was able to quickly learn Earth's languages, customs, and history, including somehow the ability to talk with birds. Katar's skin was chemically treated so he could survive the rigors of flight and he also possessed acute, hawk-like vision.

Post-Crisis, Katar sometimes used a rocket pack to increase his speed when flying. He also carried Thanagarian firearms in addition to antique Earth weapons. It was revealed that Katar's mother was a Native American mystic and he developed some supernatural powers: he could read people's auras and control birds.

After Katar Hol, Carter Hall, Shiera Hall, and the Hawkgod were fused into the Hawk Avatar during Zero Hour, Hawkman could grow feathered wings from his back and had hawk-like eyes.

Since his latest revamp, Hawkman's powers have been redefined. Nth Metal has properties far beyond anti-gravity. It is also grants Carter Hall protection from extreme temperatures and pressures, accelerates his healing rate, enhances his senses, and is responsible for him being reborn again and again over the centuries.
