Two questions:

1)It's been stated (by Per Degaton) that it will take Hourman I one year to rebuild his android descendant. Sine the infamous OYG(one year gap) is coming up after IC, will he be rebuilt during that time?

2) Since the android switched places with the original Hourman and was killed in his place during Zero Hour, why don't they just dig up the body and re-activate it(they did bury him, right)?

Ooooo, I didn't think of that. I wonder if Geoff had that in mind when he wrote that line? It would definately be cool to see Tyler again.

He better return. He was a great character.

I guess Johns was pissed that his Stars and STRIPES book got cancelled before Hourman's book did.

For answer 2, I think it's because of how Extant killed the supposed Rex: Aging him to Death. So, most likely the body is unusable.

And most likely, no one really knows how to repair an 853rd century machine colony.

What a concept for a charcter, if it cannot defeat a villian, simply go back in time and remove the problem. And who cares about the concequences of mucking about with the timestream.

VERY VERY COOL.

I didn't think of that...

Interesting idea, and something I certainly didn't pick up on. Johns seems to plan well in advance when it comes to JSA. It wouldn't surprise me if he already has a return planned for android Hourman.

Well i suppose Rex would know how to repair Hourman: he's the one who had him built in the first place(read the Hourman series to find out more)! God i loved that series. I hope Tyler rejoins the JSA or gets a JSA Classified mini written by Tom Peyer that ties up the loose ends and hashes out plotlines he never got to do. To whit: Hourman was going to reform Amazo! How would that have panned out? The mind boggles with the possibilities.
