how dyou find out what printings your comics are, i read all the tiny shit about how to subscribe if im in canada and stuff but it doesnt say what printing it is ANYWHERE.... am i to assume its not first if it doesnt say so??

Just the opposite, actually. If it's first, it doesn't specifically say so. It just prints the publishing date. If it's not first, it will say so. But you're looking in the right place--it'll be there in the tiny print on the title page. :)

hmm ok well i got this first issue of xmen and i cant find anywhere that says when it was printed...... pity i took it to a party and its all fuked now. ah well, it was a good read

It's not a big deal if it is X-men #1 from 1990...ther are tons of those in the dollar bins. If it is X-men #1 1963, well, its probably not, so I wouldn't worry about it.
