I picked up all twelve issues as apart of a story pack and I was blown away. This was a very groundbreaking book on all levels from the narration of the story expertly written by Chris Priest to the wonderfully art by Chris Cross. It should have been the Watchmen of the nineties. This simple description won’t do it justice but it about a black Michael Jordon type character who is a closer slash techno assassin that carries out his hits dressed as a white superhero. Yes I know how ridiculous that sentence sounds but once you finish all twelve issues you realize you are holding a masterpiece of epic portions I kid you not. If and only if you can find all twelve issues buy them as you will see comics at their very best. I stress only buy this book if you have all twelve issues because each issue in this book is a chapter of a novel that must be read sequentially in order to be truly appreciated.

I got issue 1# and it never did anything for me. Sorry...Priest himself at his website that I read blames DC for the death Xero.

I bought the Genisis crossover tie-in issue one day when I was looking for Dr. Polaris appearances (he was the villain in that issue). I was facinated by Xero. I loved that his superpower was information. He had a chip or something in his head that could download files directly into his brain. It was a very interesting idea.

I've always wanted to buy the rest of the series, but haven't gotten around to it. But now that you've reminded me, I might just look for it.

Yea, I know issue one confused the hell out of me two. It's not until you read all twelve issue together do you realize what a brilliant peace of fiction this. No one should read Xero unless they have all twelve issues which should be very cheap to do as I get the feeling this book was below the radar of most comic book fans back in the nineties. I certainly didn’t notice it though at time I was a teenager and my tastes were simple.
