No idea if this has been posted here or not, but I figure it'd be interesting for some people anway.

It's the opening of the Original Fox cartoon had when it was aired in Japan. Kind of funky to see, but interesting anyway. They're a video version of it a few ways down on the page apparently.

Only problem I had was why does Cable have such a big showing? Who gave the japanese the idea that Cable was a big part of the X-men (he only came to the fore during the last season....)

i remember seeing this at the end of the show during the credits. it was maybe the 3rd season, because i know this video replaced the 3-D bios one. i am almost positive it is the same video.

edit: it is. i didn't read the intro paragraph before the images. Anyway, when X-Men was sold into syndication after it was cancelled on Fox, this opening animation later found its way as the credits sequence to the show, snipped and the music missing. It was never really seen in its entirity in America.

Wow that was pretty cool. And he's right, the animation is better then it was in the actual show.

I posted this a month ago on it's sister site Toons Daily. V_V But no one really visits it.

Cable was in just about every season of the show.

I used VLC- and i'm on a mac. So if you're having trouble, you might think about getting VLC from Version Tracker. It's great.

i had never seen this before.
i had trouble viewing the clip as well.
that being said, eh. i liked the other anime intro better. i even like the us intro better than this 2nd anime version.
