I have been looking into maybe getting some vertigo comics and was wondering which comic has proven itself to be the best? Then which comic has been great as of late. A comic that has got me interested in Vertigo is Constabtine any good Hellblazer trades and whats going on with his comic as we speak?
Thanx

100 Bullets is bleeping amazing.
100 Bullets is bleeping amazing.
I agree! But if you start to read 100 Bullets, get it in trades. Its easier to follow the huge story arcs that way.
100 Bullets is one of the best titles on the market.

Ennis's Hellblazer (the current run bored the piss out of me), Sandman, Preacher, Y: the Last Man.

just bought TPBs for 100 bullets, transmetropolitan, and the losers yesterday
finished reading transmetropolitan so far, and its THE shit.
great social commentary on that title.
i'm lookin forward to hunting down further volumes (i have vol 7, i'm buyin 8 next, and the rest as soon as i find em)
word of advice: if ur reading TPBs, do ur best not to read the whole thing in one sitting.
it makes for much better reading when u read one or two chapters a night. makes u cherish the story more :)

Sandman, Watchmen, Swamp Thing, Preacher, Transmetropolitan, Y, V for Vendetta, 100 Bullets and Fables
Others are good, but those are all titles I can't do without. The essentials, the classics, and the best in general.

Ah I just looked them up on the Grand Comics Database. They're alright, but not vintage Jaime Hernandez. I like his art a lot, but I'm not sure he's that well suited to Transmet. They wound up looking too much like Mr X pics.
Lea Hernandez is not making covers
There's not just Lea and Jaime ... there's Gilbert, Mario, Antonio, Mike, Tino Santanach and probably more
