Cool interview, I'm glad he likes Lorna because I do too.

His picture looks like something you'd find under the heading "Escaped Convict still loose"

Ok interview but these Mondays with Mart things aren't as good as they once were.

Glad he likes Lorna, its pretty obvious reading X-Men he has plans for her. I'll stick around to see how it goes.

I love his Toxin mini BTW

Thats not his picture- I'm trying to figure out who that must be. PM is alot younger and much better looking.

if you drag your mouse over the picture it says the man is brett ewins, who milligan mentions as being one of his influences.

This was a waste of time. The first interveiw of a mainstream X-Book and it offers nothing.

PM's had an interesting career, and I like hearing him talk about pretty much anything, but I too wish he spoke more about his X-men book. Does anyone know how long he's signed on for?

The odd thing is that I would have always reversed that analogy. DC is the older, more established, and until recently, more conservative approach to comics.

Marvel tends to be the younger and more upstartish group, always looking to try and tweak things to see how it can be improved or changed. The very definition of liberal.

Just looking at Marvel vs DC superheroes, that Rep/Dem analogy doesnt make much sense.

But Milligan's biggest gigs at DC were usually for Vertigo, where he could be surreal, funny, irreverent, arty, queer, and break lots of rules. That's probably why he thought that.

what a horrible interview, you would think a site called uncanny x-men.net would interview a writer more about the x-men then about his favourite artists.

His interviews are like his X-Men book...much ado about nothing.

Jeez, people, it's just a brief interview. It's not supposed to be a career retrospective or something.

But they should Interview him about this book. Not fluff him and have him say Lorna is his favorite. Its Uncanny X-Men.net , not CBR Interview. Its just like his comics...boring as hell and nothing happening.

Hopefully they let him turn it loose. Or let him walk. Eithor way is better than what we've got for the last 10 issues.

I agree. I don't miss Austen by any means, but Milligan has been no better :( .

I liked the interview a lot for what it was. It explains a lot about his influence and stuff. Actually i`m glad he seems to have passion for what he`s doing on X-Men, some guys just take a lot more time to have a hang in writing a series(PAD, etc...). I may try X-Men again because of it.

Nice.
