House of M #6 Reg./Land Var. Cvrs. 08/31/05 - 09/07/05
I tried to find the other topic that had people guessing when it would be delayed, but I couldn't find it. I had guessed Issue 4.
I was off by two.
I knew that Marvel couldn't keep up to their schedule. Also, it's funny how the final two issues were out each month, instead of the regular two per month...Maybe they knew this would happen? Also, how will this delay effect the final two issues?

Um, this was on purpose. They didnt want House of M the mini series to end before all the tie ins. So they decided to release the last two issues monthly instead of biweekly.

Okay, that explains the last two issues...But they still delayed issue 6. Will they use that same excuse for the delay? Oh wait, Marvel never explains their delays.

Young Avengers schedule will be as pathetic as Astonishing X-Men & NYX.

Probably a printing erorr, it's only a week, I don't think anyone will be that upset.

YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY BE SERIOUS HOW MANY MORE DELAYS WILL THERE BE FOR THIS WONDERFUL AMAZING ENGAGING X-MEN TALE!!!! notice the sarcasm? house of m has been nothing short of disappointing four issues of boring set up and when things start to acctually get moving the series is delayed? oh well, atleast i wont have to see my comic full of house of m issues that nobody wants.

Yeah, I don't really mind the short delay for House of M. We knew they didn't want them to conclude before the solos did. But Young Avengers is getting delayed way too much. Though these just appear to be so the book can get back on a normal monthly schedule again after the long delay for #6.

Good thing I dropped the book.

If they really didn't want that, wouldn't they have solicited the books in a more appropriate fashion in order for that not to happen?

They did. That's why they decided to solicit 7 and 8 monthly instead of bi-weekly.

They originally planned it this way?
If so, WTF Marvel? WTF..... ("Well sell it to them bi-weekly, then go monthly for the final two issues. It's brilliant!")

Yes, it is, it allows Marvel a big name book for the first month of Infinite Crisis, making their loss seem not as ig perhaps?
It allows the tie-ins to finish.
And since when has this book been bi-weekly?

1. I made this topic because of the older topic (Members guessing which issue would be delayed first...Why was it removed?).
2. House of M has been boring, but I knew that they couldn't keep to their schedule without delaying it for some reason, whatever it might have been.
3. Nobbel: You post on a message board telling others to get a life...See the irony?

And since when has this book been bi-weekly?Since the start? issues 1 and 2 came out in June. 3 and 4 came out in July. 5 and 6 both came out this month. Looks bi-weekly to me.

I've got a feeling they solicited issue #8 for October in an attempt to take the wind out of the sails for DC's Infinite Crisis, which "coincidentally" begins in October.

It isn't bi weekly is it though. Sometimes there has been a 3 weeks gap in the middle, and obviously issue #6 is no longer coming out this month. Therefore it's not biweeekly.

House of M #1-6 is scheduled to be bi-weekly except for the delays not reinforced by Joe Quesada.
