I just read this and had a question about it. The whole time it seemed like there was someone else in charge instead of just the people that were in the book, was there ever any follow up on who was really in charge? Also does Deadwood mean anything, it seemed like they said that alot, maybe the name of the person that was actually in charge?

I don't believe it's ever said who it really was, although off the record there have been several X-men and Wolverine writters that said they thought it was Apocalypse.
