Was some housecleaning done? Threads prior to Nov 04 are gone.

Just tried to do a search and discovered that threads from last summer have all disappeared. I hope this is just a database corruption that can be fixed. There was quite a bit of FAQ stuff on the Hellboy.com forum that linked back to old threads. And then it's nice to go back to those old discussions just for sentimental reasons.

Yes, certain older threads have been removed to help clean up the message board database.

On a different note, when I first made the post, I accidentally typed "Nov 05" in the thread title. I edited it and changed it to "Nov 04" which, on the Hellboy.com forum at least, only changes the thread title as it appears inside the thread, but not on the front page. But in this forum, it changed the display on the front page too. What gives? Why can't users edit the titles of threads they've created in other forums?

Basically, no.
You can change the titles of any posts you make but not any threads you make.
