It is roughly 2 years into the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the GFFA. Everywhere, planets fall to the guys who use poisonous snakes as their primary weapons...
A cruiser carrying some Jedi Knights-Zekk, Lusa and Jaina Solo, exit hyperspace and encounter an odd planet near the Unknown regions. It appears to be entirely artificial. They go in for a closer look, but are ambushed by a Vong ship. Both ships crash on the planet-the planet Cybertron.
In this reality, neither Prime nor Megatron left. And eventually, both sides ran out of energy and shut down. Lusa encounters the two leaders locked in combat, frozen in stasis lock. Suddenly, both lurch to life as the Vong close in.
The Vong attack the 'abominations', forcing Prime and megatron to work together. After comparing notes with the Jedi, they learn of the Vong and their anti-machine crusade. And there's a nice cruiser abotu 100 meters away...
One year later, a joint Autobot-Decepticon alliance launches its first ship at the Vong. Can they make any difference in the war?
Oh, go here (http://www.njoe.com/) if you don't know much about the Vong. But suffice to say, they use bio-technology, are fanatics and use very little long-range weaponry. Well, they toss bugs at people...
Oh, and what happens when Unicron shows up? Oh, and it's 'Chaos God' Unicron, btw.

Most Vong probably commit suicide upon finding their organic weapons utterly USELESS against a God that deigns to take the form of a MACHINE.
Pending anyone having any superweapons that are planetbuster, SW is screwed.. And, given that Uni is ONLY vulnerable to the Matrix, maybe even IF someone whips up a Death Star, they're still screwed.
Vong're pretty much SCREWED as soon as the ship launches - it might not have shields, but it'll be pretty much invulnerable to anythign they throw at it. And Seekers WILL slaughter Vong fighters en masse. And the Cons will learn QUICKLY how to pick off and jam Vong coordinators..
Pity the Vong ground troops that land planetside.. And finding themselves being slaughtered en masse by robots that see FLESHIES as inferior and not alive.

Can you see some of the more sadistic transformers like Sunstreaker and Starscream just stepping on the Vong and then kicking some?
Oh, and it's the Ark that launches. The Autobots just never got around to finishing it.
EDIT:
Okay, just so this doesn't die. What are the SW denizen's reactions to the Autobots and Decepticons? They do view machines as property, after all.
Prime: Freedom is the right of all beings, Han Solo! You do not have the right to switch off C3PO whenever you wish!
Han: For the first time in my life, I am intimidated...
C-3PO-My hero!
Prime: Ah, I do have a girlfriend...

The /Ark/? That baby is in-frigging-VULNERABLE. Short of the Vong actually leading it into a black hole, they're screwed.
Die Cast Construction BABY! :D

How about this? HK-47 is found and rebuilt as a Dinobot? :D

It's a lost art...
Thanks for the input, Adam. I am writing a TF/NJO crossover, so i figure I'd get some opinions on this.
And I consider you to be very smart and knowledgeable when it comes to TF.

The thing is with TF's, is that they're ALL unique. Every single member of them has unique abilities, and they can't be adapted to. Tactics are useless against them as every single member of their kind is completely different.
Each one has different levels of skill, special abilities, weapons.. You never WILL know what you're up against, much less how to counter them.

Read over your fic so far, and sent you an email. Looking forwards to the rest, and seeing how it goes on! :)

Thanks, Adam. I look forward to writing more of it.
I can see Rogue Squadron using the seekers as their new craft, simply for the personality clashes.
Starscream: I, Starscream, pride of the Decepticon War Academy, being reduced to be a mere vehicle for this flesh creature?
Wedge: Shut up, shut up, shut up!!! It wasn't my idea. That Prime guy wants us to work together more. Why I couldn't be piloting an Aerialbot is beyond me...

*LOL* I can /totally/ dig that.
The thing is, I can see ubermelee'ists like Bludgeon easily holding their own with and beating Jedi with sabers.
Seriously, thye just have millions of years of experience - the Force can't match that.
If you want to make this fic REALLY scary? You have the G2 Decepticons v. ThE Vong.
Two imperial dominions clashing over the fate of the galaxy - Mechanical or Organic?

Well Luke Skywalker for one views R2 and 3PO as friends and considers them more than 'just' machines. He'd have no problem excepting the Transformers as living.
Plus, one thing I've often thought about is that, even though they're robots, the Transformers are truly living beings with thoughts, feelings emotions etc, not just droids that have 'evolved' personality over time. They have a life-force and a spirit (remember Yoda's "luminous beings are we, not this crude matter"). I think it's quite feasible that Jedi would feel them through the Force just as they do other living beings.
In any case, the Transformers would be powerful allies and the Yuuzhan Vong would be defeated considerably sooner and with less loss of life.

Transformers would make the ground battles against the Vong a breeze, but I don't know how much they would help the new republic in space, SW ships are already quite powerful.
Of course, unicron is unstoppable in any situation. How fast can Unicron cross the galaxy? Can the Vong can avoid him by outrunning him?

Even if they can't intervene directly, they can always provide tactical and strategic advice as soon as they're brought up to speed on the ships capabilities. Prowl in particular would be a great help here.

There's also the fact that Transformers can be reconfigured to transform into Wars technology (The Ark reconfigures them to Cars and such from Cybertron Modes) so they will be able to contribute just as much on the battlefield as off (Tech Upgrades/Mods, Strategy, and more)
Hell, Prime (Assuming Comics thanks to Chaos God) can animate Star Destroyers or even the Death-Star/Sun Crusher into Transformers, so they will have completely autonomous ships/fleets with TF-Troops on board. Between TF manufature techniques and SW production capabilities they will have tons of shells to be animated soon enough. Once the VOng are gone though, Megatron will turn on teh alliance and will have subverted some of those troops, and I can even see the Sith working with the Autobots to prevent Decepticon Rule.

Thinking about it; its surprising that was never turned into a comic book.
