I think he named Tony Woodward (Girder) after Woodward Avenue, one of Detroit's main streets. Has anyone found out what the "242" means that was sometimes an Easter egg in The Flash? I know he used it as a union chapter number, but was there any reason he used that particular number?

As long as he doesn't try to bring back Justice League Detroit.

I think that's good. For one, I'm tired of everything happening in NYC, and it's good that people write about places that they know about.

keystone became like detroit, the best pizza came from detroit, combines vs detroit in hockey, etc.

That's not a bad thing. He really made Keystone a real city. Up until his run, Keystone seemed like it was just a location, but now it's really a supporting character.

Well... Mark Waid did move Bart Allen to Alabama in Impulse, so, you never know. :D

Don't know what 242 means. 313 is the main area code.
Funny that you mention Woodward Ave. I live a block off it it and this weekend is the Woodward Dream Cruise http://www.woodwarddreamcruise.com/

I'm seriously concerned for your well-being. I think you should seek the assistance of a certified professional mental health care specialist. :)

I used to go to Woodward between 6 & 8 mile back in the late eighties and early nineties when a lot of gay bars and restaurants were located there. Escape from the suburbs. I was bummed when I drove by and saw The Gas Station and Heaven replaced by a McDonald's. I think the only ones left are Numbers and La Dolce Vita.
