Is it just my computer? (CBR Message Boards/Chat almost unusable the past few days)

I seem to be able to read CBR during the day (from work), but when I get home (almost every day this week), I either can't access the message boards, or when I do, everything times out on me.

the front pages don't seem to be affected.

is there anything we can do to help? does this all tie in to what went on during the SDCC weekend?

I'm going thru CBR-Withdrawl !

yah, the forums have been wonky for me as well the last couple of days. thought it might be my browser (Safari), so i started using Explorer again. now Safari seems to be working fine.

There's a hardware glitch with the forum server. Jonah has a replacement part ordered and will install it as soon as it arrives.

when I have been able to 'read' CBR Message Boards, I haven't seen anyone else metioning problems (at least not in the current week). . .so I thought , just maybe, it was me.

Anything we can do to help (besides not complaining about it :p), let us know!

It's a bunch of us, although I have more problems on my laptop than I do on the tower puter.

Yes, we're aware of the problem. Best we can tell is it's a mother board issue. I've ordered a new one, but now it's on backorder and will probably arrive when I'm away in China. I've got a couple of people who are supposed to be monitoring it while I'm away. It's usually a simple fix of stopping and starting Apache again is all.

If you notice the forums are unreachable PLEASEEEEEE send me an E-MAIL (NOT a PM or any other communication) at jonah@comicbookresources.com mentioned the forums are down. If you end up doing it 5 times in a week, I won't be mad! I PROMISE! I'd rather know something was messed up and have the opportunity to fix it than have things be down.
