I'll be signing at Midtown Comics in New York City (Times Square location) on Thursday, Aug. 18, from 5-7 p.m.
Come and say hi if you're in the neighborhood. Thanks for ForEver Ancien for the link to info:

Just wanna say thanks again to Ron for the signing. It was a good-sized crowd from what I saw, full of mostly Green Lantern and Witchblade fans, though I also saw some Silver Surfer comics and even some Amalgam books. Ron, did you get many CrossGen books to sign besides mine? Just curious.

Pleasure to meet you, Rich. Thanks for coming by. Midtown did a really nice job with the signing. Great store.
And I signed a number of CG books in addition to yours -- issues of Scion, Mystic, Path, Chimera. I also signed quite a few copies of Samurai: Heaven and Earth, which was especially gratifying.

I wasn't at Midtown, but I met Ron years ago ('99 or so) while he still had H.E.A.T. members harassing him at all the cons. He's a terrific guy and very nice at signing appearances. It's a shame I haven't done a con or spoken to most folks in the industry in years, but my two cents is: Marz, you're a great guy. Made a really good impression on me when I was a kid (even though I bitched at you for killing Kilowog, and now I'll bitch at the current writers for bringing him back). So thanks there, too.

Ron, besides thy busy schedule. Are you aware of a permanent Comic-Con that will be based in Manhattan NY, at the Javtis Jacobs center, starting in February?

Yup, I'm aware of the NYC con. It's a great idea -- New York needs a big show -- but I'm disappointed it's the same weekend as MegaCon in Orlando, which is run by Beth Widera, one of the nicest people on the planet. Don't know if I'll be at the NYC show, but I do wish them luck.
I remember one NYC show a number of years ago at the Javitts Center, in February, that was a bit of a disaster because it snowed the entire weekend. It was kind of a winter wonderland; definitely cool to be in New York during a snow storm, but it really kept attendance down.
I will be at the Baltimore con Sept. 17 and 18. And there's a possibility I'll be in Boston for the Wizard World show at the end of the month. Boston's a helluva town.

Oh, okay...that is fine. Wait...one of the richest, you say? Hmmmmm *thinking of writing to her, to buy back former CrossGen assests*
Well, enjoy the Mega-Con in Florida.

Don't misunderstand -- I'm not certain I'm going to either of them. We'll have to see what happens.
And Beth is one of the "nicest," not "richest." We've all seen what happens when rich guys get into comics, right?

Ack! Don't remind me...I follow it all to the bitter end. :(
