Anyone catch this? It's the new show after the Daily show on Comedy Central. Basically, it's Lovelines, minus the sex talk and Dr. Drew. In other words, it's basically Adam with some guests taking phone calls and ranting for 22 minutes. Which actually, can be entertaining. Although the first show felt a little like I've heard some of the stuff before, a lot of the rants were old Lovelines rants. Still, on the show, I've heard him formulate pretty hillarious, off the cuff rants on a moment's notice on damn near any issue.

I caught it last night, but I wasn't that impressed. It wasn't as good as Loveline, but I think that's probably just a matter of him getting used to the show. I'm not willing to write it off yet, but I hope it does get better in the next couple of weeks.

I wasn't impressed either. The rant the first night wasn't clever or funny.

I caught some of it tonight, and I thought it sucked ass. I mean really, none of the jokes ever caught funny and it was kinda boring. Mind you, this is right after another great episode of Conan O'Brien, so the expectations might have been a bit high.

Well, the reason I tuned in was because I thought he was pretty funny on The Man Show, and he was on a Dawson's Creek episode that I saw recently, so I thought itd be cool to check him out, because I never got to see that apparent other show he did before The Man Show. I thought he'd be cool and amusing.
He came off as an unfunny asshat.

Thats really unfortunate. Adam's stuff on "The Man Show" was often very funny, and I had high hopes that his "Too Late" show would be good as well.
Admittedly, I found Carolla on "Loveline" to be annoying at times quite frankly. But thats just me. Appears like his new show is in need of a serious revamp.
But on the other hand, I remember Conan being quite nervous, and uncomfortable for much of his first season as host on "Late Night". Maybe Carolla just needs to get into the groove of things? Let's hope so.
