So, where's Pete now?

Ok, I admit it, I skipped most of the Ruin arc. But I did read the issue where Pete is believed to be Ruin, tells Supes that he wasn't it and then disappears from his cell.

So... where is he now? Is he a bad guy now (if yes, what's with the sudden invasion of making old characters villains, first Jason Todd, Jean Loring, now Pete?). If he's now a bad guy, has his name been cleared? Was Max Lord Ruin all along?

I'm confused :confused:

He hasn't shown up since that issue. It has not been directly explained whether or not this is actually Pete doing all of this, or if he's under some sort of manipulation (similar to what happened to Superman). It was indicated that Ruin was in cohoots with Luthor at one point, but nothing more has really come of that ... yet.

I expect we'll probably see more of Ruin around the time of Infinite Crisis.

Have we gotten Lana's reaction to her still husband potentially being Ruin, yet? Either way, it should make her winning sole custody a lot easier. :p
