this was a sketch done while i was at work...

I was planning to start building up my portfolio for my first ever comicbook convention at the wizardworld con in LA, and was wondering if this rendition of this Hulk is good enough?

and if so, i can start doing a 3-5 page sample of a fan made version of World war hulk... or would that be a bad idea?

That's very well done. Keep in mind that for portfolio viewing at cons, though, they generally wanna see sequentials more than anything else.

it started off as a sketch during a lunch break at work... still trying to learn on how to color.
