Harry's becoming GG wasn't some Anakin/Palpatine thing. Harry (under the influence of LSD) saw his father get killed during a battle with Spidey. The combination of the effects of the drugs and the trauma of seeing his father die drove Harry mad.

Is this Dick Grayson when he was in his early teens or in in his late teens?

If it's the latter then I can see Dick Grayson not giving in to
