A question for all you rabid ECW fans.....

Me and a friend argued about who would win in a wrestling match between Chris Benoit and Goldberg.

I said Chris Benoit would thrash him and is capable of breaking something on Goldberg with those many submission holds of his, and that he would take the win by making him tap and/or outwrestling him.

The aformentioned friend of mine argued that the two fought in a no-disqualifications match in ECW and that no matter what Benoit threw at him Goldberg kept coming. Now, I haven't seen this match and had not even known that Goldberg was a superstar in ECW, and have a hard time beleiving that Goldberg could beat Benoit in an unscripted wrestling match or a fight even.

Can someone give me some info on any ECW matchup between the two?

So whomever the booker decided would win would win.

The two never wrestled in ECW.

Goldberg never worked in ECW.

Pro wrestling is fake; it's outcomes are pre-determined.

I actually told him that, he played it off like it was fake or something like that.

I then went on to say that Goldberg couldn't wrestle like Benoit could in the slightest and that Bill was a brawler, he ignored that two and went on about this whole ECW fiasco.

Anyways, thanks for all you guy's help. I can hardly wait to brag about it.

U can always find Goldberg's profile/bio on so many sites online which will tell u all u need to know about Goldberg. Goldberg was a product of WCW power plant and he was WCW all the way till it folded.

his question is about a real life fight...Jericho and Goldberg had a real life brawl that ended with Jericho kicking Goldberg's ass.

while pro wrestling is scripted... a good number of those guys have fought and wrestled in other venues (UFC, the Olympics in Angle's case, etc.)
