Well, you kill Iron Man by whizzin' in his eye holes.
Kill Ghost Rider n' Hawkman by making them read their own comics.
Kill Spider-Man by putting pictures of Norman Osborn's love-face all over billboards around the city.

Kill Hal Jordan by having Geoff Johns write him.

Kill Dr. Strange by putting out a monthly book about him.
Kill Sergeant Fury by giving him an exploding cigar.
Kill Hal Jordan by having Geoff Johns write him.
Gee, that's odd.
I could have sworn it was Geoff Johns who had written Green Lantern: Rebirth which returned Hal to his 'never give up' and 'action hero' roots as opposed to the 'must do what it right! must do what is right!' Parallax nonsense and the 'woe is me! woe is me! is that jesus?' Spectre belly-button-inspecting fluff.
In short, the Hal Jordan in Rebirth acted like the Hal Jordan most (if not all) Green Lantern fans liked and not the wussy girly man we saw in The Spectre and certainly not the unrecognisable mess he was written as when he was Parallax.

New Frontier was some real good stuff. It's a shame DC isn't giving it the hardcover collection it deserves.

It doesn't take a lot to kill X-men, now getting them to stay dead, thats the trick.
