Which super satirical show was especially satisfying to your psyche?

I love alliteration. And both of these shows.

Same here. But much as I adored Pinky & the Brain it was Rocko's Modern Life that was better. It was incredibly screwed up for a kids cartoon. :)

Gotta go with Rocko's Modern Life. Fillburt, Heffer, and Rocko were great, and the episode with Fillburt's and Dr. Hutchison's family feud remains in my mind to this day.

Rocko. P&TB never thrilled me, but Rocko was gold.

I'd say Pinky and the Brain.

Pinky and Brain were fantastic characters, and the nature of the show ment they could go nearly anywhere and weren't tied to one setting.

Plus I found it funnier slightly sharper writing. The episode where Pinkey becomes President for instance. (Odd how cartoons back then could have Bill Clinton with no problem, yet few cartoons now have George W in them.)

Rocko you either got or didn't. Pinkey and the Brain had a lot more middle ground.

"Wacky Deli" was one of the funniest half-hours in the history of television.

Both shows were brilliant, but I give Rocko the edge for having some surprisingly adult humor, both subtle and non-subtle. Heck, the Bigheads had examples of both...

Rocko's Modern Life, hands down.

Pinky and the Brian was great as well, but Rocko will forever reign supreme. I mean, come on. He worked in a comic shop! That's some major street cred right there.

Pinky and the Brain was great.

Like Invader Zim before Invader Zim (And with a super smart mouse. Not a alien.)


But Rocko wins.

That show had way more dark humor for a kid's show. Just had to pay attention.

Whatever! Rocco's Modern Life is the way to go. The spring cleaning song still gets stuck in my head to this day.

Did anybody else get the limited series of Rocko's Modern Life Marvel published in the 90's? I got 3 issues of it. Great stuff!
