Well, so far, Sin City is the only one that didn't suck.

Hmm, do I think V will suck? Yes I do.

Batman didn't suck.
But yeah, I vote for the amazing Sin City too.

I went for Batman Begins, as I am (it seems) in the minority of comic fans who really didn't like Sin City.

Revenge of the Sith. It's the only movie with ties to comics that was actually good on its own and even better than the comics themselves. But since that wasn't an option...

Sin City proves (to me, at least) that comics are comics and movies are movies. Mixing them isn't all that great of an idea. (I was actually bored by it.)

Batman is the only one I would even suggest to anybody because it didn't stink. The FF was enjoyable only to see the Torch and Thing effects. Everything else was a big disappointment.

I go watch these things out of obligation. Except for Spider-Man and X-men, I usually hold my nose when I buy my ticket.

batman begins was ok. sin city was fair, but not very memorable. constantine was very silly. v for vendetta looks like crap. i give batman begins 2.75 stars, sin city 2.5, and constantine 1. but constantine is the most memorable. i'm a keanu fan.

... back when the Warchowskis were geniuses?

With an excellent cast, and a pair of directors who actually understand the comic, it has a shot at being really good. Just a shot, mind you. I fear the certain 'de-Britishizing' of it may cause the whole thing to fall apart. If it blows, then I'll go with Batman Begins.

Does Dan Clowes' upcoming 'Art School Confidential' count as a comic book movie?

I went with Sin City. I still have hopes for V for Vendetta, but even if it turns out to be the best movie of the year . . . well, I just love the whole look and feel of Sin City. It exceeded all my expections.

Sin City was quite good, but I think they crammed too many stories in and the pacing suffered because of it. Batman Returns got my vote for being the best (ie: only decent) Batman film ever! Not perfect, but a great popcorn flick

...although the rigid headgear still bothers me. I guess I missed something somewhere that said the cowl had to be a helmet... Sin City runs a close second, and The Fantastic Four was more fun than it was supposed to be. V will probably be just as good as those other Alan Moore adaptations we all know and hate...
