Hi I'm new here.
I always thorught of Catwomen as a very bad charater. She never really intrested me. Of course at that time I only reading marvel comics. Recently I picked up Batman the long halloween and I found Catwomen to be a very good character. The only problem is, she doesn't seem to be in any other books apart from the Dark victorey. So I was wondering if any of you could suggest some good reads. Or anything that has her in.
Also I was wondering about Poison Ivy, I would also like to buy stuff with her in.

There is an ongoing series called--strangely enough--"Catwoman." It currently has a new writer and artist. If you are looking for some other good books, find the trade paperbacks written by Ed Brubaker, like "Dark End of the Street," "Crooked Little Town," and "Relentless" (start with the first one). Also, "Selina's Big Score" by Darwyn Cooke is an instant classic.
I really like Poison Ivy, too. She doesn't have her own book, so you'll only see her off and on when she is a featured villain in one of the Bat-books. The last one she was in was a few months ago in Gotham Knights. It wasn't a happy ending unfortunately. :(

Uh, Catwoman a bad character? Not interesting?!? She's the most awesome comic book character ever! You based her being "bad" before actually reading any of her stuff? Yeesh!
Yes, her current series- "Catwoman"- is amazing. the first 3 TPB's of the series & Selina's Big Score that Cletus metioned are probably the best places to start. "Catwoman Defiant" is her first book (I think) and it's good & cheap. Also check her out in Batman's "Terror" and "Hush" TPB's, which are great on their own as well.
Poison Ivy has recently had a really good storyline going in on the latest "Batman: Gotham Knights" series, which recently came to a head in #64 & 65. In Catwoman's first solo series they worked together sometimes, if you ever have the time to look through back issues at your LCS she's usually featured on the cover.

Check out Batman: Year One for an interesting look at the earliest part of her career. Also, someone mentioned this but let me reiterate: get the Ed Brubaker Catwoman trades---they are AWESOME!!! Some really great writing.

Ed Brubaker's CATWOMAN was the best comic produced this decade.
The RELENTLESS trade was particularly brilliant; that last story still makes me want to cry. Luckily, I'm too much of a macho he-man to actually do that.
Oh, and you might want to pick up BATMAN: HUSH. I didn't care for it myself, but a lot of new DC readers seem to dig it. Catwoman plays a fairly large role in it.
