Question about X-Men Legends

I was just wondering, since I either missed it or the game didn't explain, but who was the person that enlisted the Shadow King to kidnap Illyana to lure Xavier into the Astral Plane?

imo, Magneto has too much respect for his old freind Xavier to try to kill him like that, and Kincaid wouldn't have had access to Shadow King anyway... so, was it Apocalypse?

When I played it, I thought it was supposed to be Kinkaid -- it was all his plan, after all.

It's been a while since I've played it, but I also think it's Kinkaid. either that or maybe they never explained it.

Don't think they explained it, but I think it was Apocolypse. The whole thing seemed to be his plan, and he seemed to be manipulating everyone.

I disagree with the Apocalypse interpretation. I think it's more likely that it was all Kinkaid's plan. Brainstorm -- didn't Kinkaid have the astral gate built so he could reach the astral plane? That explains how he was able to get the Shadow King on side -- Kinkaid's troops get the bait for Shadow King and he just has to hold Xavier. They both benefit.

So, I think the Apocalypse bit is just a generic teaser.
