Can someone give me a break down of the arcs of Nightwing?
Like 101 - 106 = Year One
Also, maybe some info on each?

Nightwing doesn't really go in arcs. It just kinda goes.

So like I should just take my chances with back issues? or I should try trades?

If you don't have the first issues #1-whatever, I suggest getting those first. Still some of my favorite comics period. Dixon and McDaniel just created one of my favorite series. Dick moving out of Gotham and into his own in the maybe even more corrupt city of Bludhaven. Start from the first trade and move on from there.

Another vote for getting the trades for story arcs.

Yeah, pick up all the trades you can. So far only Chuck Dixon's work has been collected so there's no need to worry about Grayson's dren yet.

Hey all just thought i'd let you know I went to my comic shop and they were out of the first TPB, A Knight (Night?) in Bludhaven, but it's coming in this week so I'll be getting it! I'm really anxious. Thanks for your replies guys.
I was also looking through back issues and I picked up issue #50, #99, #100, I had #101 - #106, & I have from then on. I could like #17 and a few of the 30s... but i think it pays to get trades... But maybe there are some stand out issues? Can anyone think of any? #47's cover looks amazing! Is the story any good?
Thanks for the help all.

I have all the trades so far but they only go up to issue #60 (with the exception of Year One which got an uncommonly fast TPB release) but I can tell you in sixty issues I haven't been dissapointed.

Great. So I'll get trades and single issues here and there.

I just went to my comic shop two days ago and picked up A Knight in Bludhaven, great story, but which TBP comes next and what order do the TPB come in?

May I ask what is awful about Devin Grayson's run? I am not asking to be snarky, I honestly don't know. I don't read the book so I am just curious.

Devin Grayson did to Frank Miller's (Daredevil) "Born Again" what Mark Millar did in MK:Spider-Man to Jeff Loeb's "Hush".
A complete rip off filled with mischaracterizations and plot events that just don't make any damn sense.
