Okay, I'm not saying I'm going to join, but color me curious...
How in the world do they score such a thing? Considering soccer matches are notorious for back-and-forth, nil-nil games with little scoring or even shot opportunities - how does a fantasy team score points?

What's the scene like? Last I've watched, Arsenal won the cup. Other then The owner of the Tampa Bay Bucs putting Man U. in debt, I'm clueless.
I'm all set, just picked my team. Watch out you Brits... the American Steamroller is in motion. :D

I thought the rioting AFTER the soccer games was England's National sport. :D
I'll think about joining. But I'll probably come in last, because even though I know about the game of soccer, I couldn't list a single player.

Ah, what the hey.
I picked Bolton as my favorite team, since that's a name in George R.R. Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" series of books. I only hope their team doesn't suck.

the idea is that u r given £100million to pick 15 players (only 3 from 1 team) and to compete with other mangers over the season. all points are based on every game.

That part I got.
I was making a joke that, during registration, they asked me my favorite team and had a drop down list. Instead of picking "Other" and revealing my complete lack of knowledge, I picked a team somewhat at random and hoped for the best. :D

Damn you can't see anyone elses team until the league starts, not that I think my team is bad you understand.
It was weird picking my team, who would have thought that £100 million wouldn't be enough!

Did everyone enjoy this weekends footie?Top of what league? Are there actually leagues? I thought it was just one large group of players competing against each other.

I meant top of the CBR mini league, you can join up once you have registered your team using the code 67521-26487.
Goalies do score on occasion but they are few and far between. In fact none spring readily to mind.

Not overly happy with my lot, fantasy team and real. A few changes needed before the weekend methinks.
Huh? Murphy isn't a bad choice he seems to have found his way again in his second season at Charlton.
This was a decent week for me, but I am still having all sorts of problems picking the right player to be captain each week.

had a quick look at hte team you picked last week and i would say do two things:
put mills in ur team instead of volz
and have bent or duff as your captain. tbh it depends on what teams are playing who if chelsea are playing a top team make cech your captin and if (cha/che) are playing a lower league side then make bent or duff your captain. bent will play more games then duff.
i would also look at making a few transfers. that help any?

Well changes are done, I lost points doing them but what the hell. Here's hoping I haven't jinxed Charlton now.
Huh? I'd make Duff or Bent Captain both doing ok at the mo.
Well, I guess everyone else has given up on this too. It is way to much work as a fantasy league. The season has been interesting so far though!
