Yer a good fellow Beast! Now post a thread about Astonishing 11. I wanna know if Charlie + the Truck beat Dangerbot.

EDITED to ADD: I don't know how that bloke who writes the blurbs for HoM can look at him/herself in the mirror. They are just shameless & pathetic...

Considering he wrote the blurb for HoM #3, I think Bendis does all of them. :)

And nyet, no Astonishing. Latest news I heard was just after New Years for #13. :(

No Astonishing...?
Astonishing is expected for November or December, I believe.

I'm not terribly excited for many of the solits in October. I may end up just dropping X-Men for the crossover. And what it said for Kitty Pryde is kind of funny.

Definitely going to buy the special book on new xmen. Sounds very interesting. N and C seems to be putting all the stops on their books. Too bad they have to go. The way i figure because change was happening it had to change with it. Though I wish Kyle, brooks, and yost good luck. I mourn the loss. I am still buying issue 20 when it comes out.

Hmm mutopia sounds cool.

Well, well. Interesting stuff this month.

Cable and Deadpool looks fun. Cable and Deadpool actually fight alongside each other for once.

Not going to be reading Exiles, but if my dear Blink died Ill be mad.

House of M is pathetic as always. It even says, "This is no hype, my friend". I burst out laughing when I saw that. Not exciting at all.

Ill pick up New X-men. Atleast the New Mutants and Hellions go to two different schools.

Im probably going to skip the yearbook, but I might be convinced otherwise. Its probably just going to tie up all the teenage romances and what-not.

Not going to be reading Nightcrawler, but Im glad they are retconning the Draco. (vomit!)

I wonder who Captain Britain's misfits are.

NO!!!!!!!! WHY!!?!?! WHY!?!? Why does Weapon X have to tie into House of M? WHY!!!! Ill still be reading it, but WHY???!?!?!?!!?

Skippin the X-men/Black Panther thing.

I bet Piotr's family are death eaters

Wont be picking up Powerpack/X-men. blah

If Kitty's vacation is Japan is being made miserable by a super-villain, shouldnt she just leave? I hope not! Cause then maybe Joss Whedon will kill the people at Marvel!! Just kiddin :p :p

And finally, I will without a single doubt be reading X-men Unlimited 11. It is about time an issue of X-men Unlimited is devoted to something useful, that Claremont will likely be reading to use in canon sometime. Im glad they are choosing to make the book useful. We never get to see Rachel and Alex react. I cant wait for this.

some ridiculous stuff this month, but some good stuff too.

It didn't say Weapon X is tied into House of M though....

Cap Brit's team is Rachel, Betsy, Nocturne, and Juggernaut, or at least that is the way CC explained the Uncanny book during HoM.

Brian M.
07-20-2005, 04:41 PM
Yea I don't think Weapon X is a tie in, just b/c it has Magneto in it doesn't mean crap for House of M.

I'm looking forward to the House of M#8 and I'll def be getting Uncanny, X-Men, Ultimate X-Men, CnD, and I can't wait for X-Men Unlimited. Weapon X sounds alright and Wolverine I'm not sure if I'll pick it up but it is still the HoM tie-in.

They sound pretty good although I read the preview of X-Men #173 and Milligan really just doesn't try and follow the past at all, so I'm thinking of dropping it soon.

Read the first two sentences.
Sorry Fishy, you're wrong. This has nothing to do with HoM. It's the whole 'Future DOFN' thingie that they're doing with Weapon X. Just because he's referred to as Lord Magnus doesn't mean it has anything to do with HoM. No sense jumping to conclusions.

Steven F.
07-20-2005, 06:22 PM
yeah, it is just a future story, nothing to do with HoM.
