Looks good. But the Hellions preview is just teeny tiny thumbnails.

peter milligan is just full of errors in his stories isn't he. it's bad enough he thinks mystique is rogues step-daughter but he also thinks mystique needs a chip to hide her mind from telepaths when it's already been established they can't read her mind aswell as him thinking mystique can't mask her scent from logan which she CAN.

i know fishtaco. i don't want to sound like some raving fanboy but its extremely annoying when u shell out money for these comics and they can't even keep the simple things they've established straight. her very costume is ripped right off the mystique comic so how could the writer miss the whole impenetrable mind thing which was further established by the mystique comic?

I agree the editors need to keep these things straight but it is not a chip that's helping her but some kind of boost from her mysterious friend. I suppose they could say that's how she's improved her ability to deflect telepaths and there are a lot at Xaviers compared to one. As for Wolverine - he's detected her before and then not so maybe she's being careful just in case. I'm more interested in why she's here and what she is really after.

Whats wrong with using the same Mystique outfit that she was just using in her own series? I would have just used that one too if I were the artist.

I have to agree with Fishtaco. I think it's Mystique's coolest outfit and that's saying a lot since I using find bared midrifts silly in the superhero world. Personal tastes aside though, it has been her recognisable costume for a while now. It makes perfect sense that it would be used here.

I don't think Shadowcat has problems with her black leather costume, it's just that she/he feels that since they kept that costume as part of continuity from her own solo series that they should keep the difficulty of reading her mind that Charles Xavier had as well.

Personally it's not a big deal for me because I think Mystique is being more cautious when being constantly around a telepath rather than thousands of miles away.

I wonder who the guy she's talking to is though.

As weird as it sounds I'm thinking it may be Fantomex, working on behalf of Xavier. He had ties to her in the Mystique series, and he's no longer at the Mansion. Could it be possible that he's sent her in the retrieve something for him that he can't get while he's in Genosha?
