Here's a challenge for you guys. Thought of it today while browsing at Thor pics.

The classic Arm and Hammer logo, with the classic hammer being replaced by Mjolnir, and the words, "Arm and Hammer" changed to resemble Norse runes. Maybe have a lightning bolt flashing behind the arm as well.

Cosmic, what are you using to make your avatars? The quality on most isn't that great...some are coming out very grainy and others very blurry.

I've been using paint, now I'm using GIMP.

I've replaced everything except the Hulk images. I'll get those tonight.
I hope they look better and are now acceptable, if not, maybe it's the source images.

just go up to search (this thread) type in the name of character you want ... then copy and paste into own folder and then .. put it in.:D

If you're having problems getting them from the thread, then what you need to do is:

1. Save the desired avatar image to your PC with a name and location that will be easy for you to remember.
2. Go to "User CP" on the yellow menu near the top.
3. Select "Edit Avatar".
4. Scroll down until you see a a blank entry field and a button next to it that says "Browse".
5. Click "Browse".
6. Find your saved avatar image and click "Open".
7. Save changes.

Congratulations, you now have a shiny new avatar.

Toboe, this is all I could do from where I'm at. I'll try again when I have a better computer to use.

I had to fill in the corner to the upper left, so that isn't as smooth as I'd like, and I would have tried to cut out the text and reposition it, but can't do that with the software available. I'll try to do some better ones from that scan later tonight.

EDIT: I'm adding the new image, and what it looks like without the corner filled in. I'd love feedback from anybody on how I'm doing.
EDIT: I've added a better quality version of the first image.

Looking at them all together, I think the first one might be the best, but the image quality isn't as good as the others. I'll try to duplicate that.
I tried to do one more zoomed out and move the word balloon, and it was okay, but the words were much too small, so I won't bother posting it. If I can recreate the first image in higher quality, I'll add it to the previous post.

Hey Mattbib, I was just wondering in you think my newer avatars are up to snuff, when I first started, you said they were kind of blurry.

I was using paint then, and they were coming out at about 3k per image, now I'm using GIMP, and they are 6-10k per image.

I hope people like them, even if nobody uses them.

I've made 476 avatars in two weeks, and am dying for more images to work with.

Secondly, a gif perhaps right after he destroys the mountain, where he's sitting there slumped as the smoke clears. I feel that the art in this book was excellent.
