So I picked up Lumines and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 REMIX. Lumines is basically a pretty Tetris clone and Tony Hawk is just like the real PS2 version only smaller. What am I missing and what have you found to be the best things for it ?

Metal Gear Ac!d. If you don't have a problem with the fact that it isn't a regular MGS, than it's amazingly good.

CALM DOWN! (slap) ok, now what you do is get some good UMD movies (whatever takes your fancy) and a bigger memory stick is a must if you want to transfer movies from your teh PC.

If you like sports, I definitely recommend MVP Baseball. Stay away from MLB. It is an absolutely wonderful game. And the only problem I have encountered with the game is the slower loading times, which is honestly not so bad. And Twisted Metal: Head On is a great game.

Lumines destroys Tetris. There's definitely much more strategy involved in Lumines, and the total rush you get from pulling off 10, 11, or 12 block combos is wicked awesome.

And Meteos destroys them both. :D
Get yourself a 1gig memory stick so you can play the NES, SNES and Genesis emulators on it :)

Here's some info on the next upgrade (2.0). No browser yet, but some cool features: http://psp.ign.com/articles/635/635490p1.html
I just got my wireless router hooked up at home so now I have the Infrastructure available to play others online. And there are some great games coming out in a few months: Madden 2006, Smackdown vs. Raw, Battlefront II, and GTA. And I know that games like Madden and Smackdown support PS2 connectivity which will allow you to play games and keep stats from one system to the other. Start a season in Madden on the PS2, connect to the PSP and continue the season with your PSP when you go on the road. Very cool.

Where can you get these emulators?

the emulators don't work on firmware 1.51 or 1.52, so if you have upgraded you are out of luck.

And Twisted Metal: Head On is a great game.
How does it compare to TM: Black? I've been dying for a new Twisted Metal game. Head On seems like it may just be the game that finally makes me genuinely desire a PSP (as opposed to merely wanting one).

TM:Black is the best game in the series in my opinion seconded by TM2. I never played TM3 or TM4 very much, and TM:Head-On plays a lot like TM2 (which 3 and 4 seemed to stray away from). The levels are smaller than in TM:Black, but some may not consider that to be a bad thing. One of the coolest things about Head-On is that the Paris stage is essentially a souped-up recreation of Paris in TM2.
The characters are a cross of classics from TM1 and TM2 with more recent ones from Black, as well as some all new faces. I recommend getting this game if you are a fan of Black and TM2. It's worth it.

Couldn't have put it any better than how Captain Trips put it. Very much worth buying if you're a fan of TM2 and Black. And both of them were my favorites.
