I think we've just seen four of them. E2 Supes, E2 Lois, EPrime Superboy, and Alexander Luthor. They have no place in the "current" DCU, and they may have no way to return to the place they left.

Well it's practically been almost made clear that Kieth Giffen and Geoff Johns are going to use Dr.Light II (Kimiyo Hoshi) in it
And he's told me in a chat room SPECIFICALLY "Dr.Light II" which tells me she'll get her powers back!

Unless he's put back into the mindwiping JLA that most likely will exist post Crisis, then Martian Manhunter I figure will be in 52 so we have someone who can go anywhere easily. He doesn't have his own book anymore, and he's a sadly a side character now a days playing moniter duty all the time! I miss him doing stuff. He still has cooler powers, and personality and identities then Superman.

we know Didio has repeated some series will end, others will begin, here's the first I read that will end...Plastic Man! I know it's not tied into IC, but is a result of the restructuring plan set out by Didio and DC.
so what series do you think will be axed and what would you like to see return?

I remember reading that OYL would contain (paraphrasing) "characters dying, characters returning, heroes becoming villains and villains becoming heroes"
The one that I'm wondering about is: which villains will become heroes?
Obviously the Six from VU are prime candidates, but I don't see them becoming full-fledged heroes. Some of the Rogues from Flash are also possibilities, however I'm not too familiar with them. Any other ideas?
The one I'm hoping to see the most has actually been done at least once before. Anyone remember "The Judge" from the late 90's Batman?
Basically, Harvey Dent went schizo even worse and created a third personality, to compensate for Two-Face, with the two at odds. It was an awesome story, but I can't quite nail the particulars down.
In the comics IIRC, Two-Face was back to normal (in appearance at least) at the end of 'Hush'. If he has reformed, I think OYL would be a perfect time to revisist that story.

1. Suicide Squad - Make. This. Happen. Now! (Simone would be great, but if her slate is too busy, I'd take Ostrander again in a hearbeat!) As a twist, maybe this can be a total villain operation run by Calculator instead of Amanda Waller.
2. Justice League - Having lost confidence in their "Big 3", one of the premiere hero teams in the DCU become everyone's favorite Superbuddies, or at least what's surviving of them anyway.
3. D.E.O. - Humans' mistrust of metas are at an all time high. Cameron Chase and Sasha Bordeaux (aka OMAC) are DEO agents who keep tabs of the metas of the DCU!
4. Power Girl - Karen Starr tries to rebuild her life after the devastating effects of Infinite Crisis. (Feel free to cancel Supergirl to make room for this)
5. Secret Origins - I used to love this series. I'm sure tons of people will back backstories re-done after this one, so I'm up for a Secret Origins series while the market will support it.
I liked most of these ideas. ;)

I don't know. What I think would be cool is if there become 3 teams in the end.
Batman, head of the Outsiders.
Superman, head of the JL
Wonder Woman, head of the Titans (or something else, I don't know - add suggestions).
What would be cooler is if they didn't know each others secret identities either, so it would be like 3 groups of people doing good, but all with different definition.
Batman/Outsiders - Any flesh wounds OK but no killing. Terrorise the villains.
Superman/JLA - Try to be nice and don't hurt people unnecessary.
Wonder Woman - Work as a warrior. Do what you need to get the job done. Avoid killing if you can, but never rule it out.

Villain to Hero : Cat-Man
Yes, my money is on Batman going back to the Outsiders with an integration of old and new members.
Aquaman I can see getting the ax. Again.
I'm really wondering if Green Arrow will hang on to his own title. I could totally see him in The Outsiders too.
Is the JLElite still around ? What is their status ? I didn't follow the maxi through to its conclusion.
I could maybe see the Marvel Family get some kind of revamp and another shot at their own title.
Breach, Doom Patrol, The Demon all bite it.

I wholeheartedly agree. It used to be trendy when comics, movies, TV Shows, etc. broke down 'the third wall' and let the audience in on what was going on (it still is, to a certain extent)
Same goes for the supergroups---when members stop calling each other 'Captain Courage' and 'Superdude' and start calling each other 'Clark' 'Bruce' and 'Diana'...to a certain extent it stops being fantasy and becomes quasi-reality--hell, if I want reality, I'll watch Dawson's Creek or Smallville...I think what is missing in comics today is the fact that the audience knows something that the characters do not--the real identities of the heroes...remember how at least once or twice a year you had an issue of a superhero comic in which the main hero was worried that someone was getting close to revealing his/her true identity? Those were FUN issues!
Having Bruce Wayne dress up as Superman in order to convince Lois Lane that Supes and Clark Kent were two different people, etc...all the crazy, innocent, harmless schemes to keep those all-important "secret identities"---Ah, memories....
I think that the final "crisis" issue should involve GOD coming to earth and making ALL characters--Heroes and Villians alike--forget each other's secret identities...

I'll eat my nose if Doom Patrol isn't the first thing on Morrison's plate after the Crisis. Which, of course, will be all kinds of awesome.

In terms of the writers treating this like a tv series, (and this is based on nothing in particular) I imagine the storylines of 52 were worked out between all the writers and specific issues are being written by individuals or pairs.
I like the team they have in place ESSPECIALLY with Giffen in place to give it a certain amount of consistancy.
I curious about the cost of the comic...both for me to buy and for DC to produce...this one is going to take a lot of work, and I really hope they can pull it off.

Whats 52? Can someone please explain?
52 is the working title of the weekly series spinning out of Infinite Crisis next year. At the end of IC all of DC's books are jumping forward a year, 52 will fill what happened in that missing year. It's being written by Grant Morrison, Mark Waid, Greg Rucka, with breakdowns and some plotting by Keith Giffen. Covers will be by JG Jones. I can only assume there will be a slew of different artists working on the title.
(The playing card angle is just wacko speculation at this point)

Speaking of 52, shouldn't we see the first part of the OYL in the next Previews? It's supposed to take place between issues 5 and 6 of IC. #5 comes out in February. Unless they do something funky like make March "OYL Month!" and move IC #6 to April.

Yes, 52 the series takes place after IC but the OYL jump itself takes place between issues 5 and 6. So we should see some OYL stuff in Previews.

I'm guessing that IC #6 will still come out in March with the OYL books. The "between" means that the OYL books will start showing up the IC #5 is released.

Alright, recently, from what I heard from some folks who attended the RRP up in Montreal, there was a small blurb about 52* with an already completed cover to #1. Now, if you don't want to SPOIL anything, I'd turn away now and not look.

Alright, fair enough warning. From what I heard, some of the characters who will be at the center of 52* will be Steel, Booster Gold, Adam Strange, Animal Man, and a female with an afro (Vixen?). Now, as I said, this is only a few, and they were the ones who actually appeared in the blurb on screen, with several more still veiled in secrecy.
My question is... who else is gonna make it through this all?? Who could those veiled characters be? Guess we'll have to find out.
I will say this though, I'm happy to see these characters make it through Crisis.

(wipes sweat from forehead) Cool. Looks like Animal Man will survive. Could Steel be Johny Henry Irons back in action/ I hope so, he's the most worth wild charcter to come out of Reign of the Supermen. he deserves to be back. is it possible the afro woman is Onyx? I know she's been bald in Bat appearances but no one said she couldnt grow her hair back. I'm happy to see Booster Gold and Adam Strange will be involved. Now if someone could just do something with Zauriel, Ray (hopes he makes it), Jack Knight, Shining Knight, Airwave, Windshear, Captain Atom (in the DCU, not WILDSTORM), Elongated Man, and bring back the Jim harper Guardian, I'd be happy.

I'd also love to see Captain Comet, but Adam Strange is just fine.

How does this fit in with the comment that the six heroes in 52 have no place in the DCU.
It's been said that not all six would necessarily die but that the six featured heroes have no place in the DCU.
Certainly suggests that Kal-L may succeed.
Unless those six are incidental characters and the real featured six are Kal-L, Earth-Prime Superboy, Lois Lane-Kent, Alex Luthor, Power Girl and one more.

Maybe.
But Didio openly admitted that he is essentially "talking out of his ass" in interviews so all bets are off with 52, I think.
Haven't read this thread but what about the 7 soldiers? Didio did say they would be big in 52 (or OYL). But Didio hasn't exactly earned my trust with his statements so I hope they will be big in 52.

Well, SS ends at the same time as OYL. Coinsidence? Who knows. Any theories?
Mohammed Ali
But it makes sense that the main characters in 52 won't be seen anywhere else in the DCU for a year so their story in 52 isn't spoiled (since all OYL books technically take place after 52). If Booster is one of the guys in 52, then I wouldn't expect to see a Booster Gold ongoing because then why would we care about what happens to him during 52? So, I don't think that part is a lie.
As for the Seven Soldiers, I'm guessing that we will see some of them in 52 if for no other reason than Morrison is one of the writers. I could see one of the Soldiers as a main character in 52, but I think it's more likely that they'll just appear as guest stars... or maybe be in one of the back-up stories. Ooooo! Wouldn't it be awesome if one of the stories in 52 would show the regular DC heroes dealing with this Sheeda event? Maybe even meeting up with a Soldier or two? That might be fun (but I would worry that Superman or someone would over shadow 7S characters).
Well, SS ends at the same time as OYL. Coinsidence? Who knows. Any theories?Well, we don't quite know when the 7S story takes place. There have been hints that it takes place during the missing year so it would be happening in the middle of 52.

Wizard #171 confirmed some new DC titles as well as some creative teams.
Batman/ Detective - An 8 issue story that sets up July's Bat-shakeup. Written by James Robinson, art by Don Kramer and Andy Clarke.
Blue Beetle: Written by Keith Giffen and John Rogers, art by Cully Hamner.
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan): Written by Geoff Johns. Art by Ivan Reis.
Superman/ Action Comics: An 8 issue story leading into a major Super event in June. Written by Geoff Johns and Kurt Busiek. Art by Pete Woods.
Supergirl: Written by Greg Rucka. No artist mentioned.
Wonder Woman: No writer mentioned (could be that Allan Heinberg rumor?). Art by Terry Dodson.
Checkmate: Written by Greg Rucka. Art by Jesus Saiz.
Ion (Kyle Rayner): Written by Ron Marz. Art by Greg Tocchini.
Shadowpact: Story and art by Bill Willingham.
Green Lantern Corps: Story by Dave Gibbons. Gibbons will also provide the art for at least the first three issues. Patrick Gleason takes over as regular penciler in #7 (so who will draw 4-6?).
And of course, the previously announced Hawkgirl written by Walt Simonson and art by Howard Chaykin.

DC is really after my money, and they're gonna get it.
James Robinson's back writing comics! Hooray! I'll definitely pick this up.
Blue Beetle: Been waiting for this one. I love Keith Giffen.
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan): Ivan Reis is an excellent artist. I love this book already, and Reis' addition to the team is great news.
Superman/ Action Comics: Geoff Johns and Kurt Busiek are 2 of my favourite writers. It'll be great to see them working together on Supes.
Checkmate: If it's as good as OMAC was, I'm there.
Shadowpact: Willingham drawing again! This is music to my ears.
Green Lantern Corps: Love the miniseries. I'm onbaord for the ongoing.
Hawkgirl: Who can turn down Simonson/Chaykin as a creative team.

Robinson on Detective is great news! I've found Robinson's Batman in things like LOTDK: Blades to be exactly how Batman should be: intelligent, calculating, and self-reliant, but not a complete asshole; competent and in control of the situation, but not completely unbeatable. I like Kramer's art for the most part, but it's a shame that DC didn't pair him with someone like Peter Sjelberg, David Lloyd (who really needs to be given a Batman project some day, if he so desires), or John Watkiss, who he collaborated with on the aforementioned LOTDK arc (and another featuring Batman investigating a werewolf in London, if I'm not mistaken).

When I saw this over at another site, the names in #7 were listed differently. Like so:
Flash/Wally West
Superboy/Conner Kent
Green Lantern/Guy Gardner
Nightwing/Dick Grayson
Which seemed to me to indicate that some trickery was going on in the question. I.e. Wally West might not be Flash anymore, but he might not be dead either. He just won't be "around" as Flash.

Wow, agreed, that whole thing gave me chills! just for giggles Ill fill in my best guesses.....
1. Catwoman... maybe give Bruce a reason to take a break.....
2. I think WW will bite the dust.... so does that count as losing ur powers?
3. Bruce ** see 1 **
4. Martian ManHunter... lots of potential for a good story there... he's the only one Id care about atleast, next being Atom i guess.
5. eww this ones tricky... I rly dont like E2-Supes, dont see him making it throught he crisis... Booster + Blue Beatle Scarab = lots of power? ... not Kyle... for some wierd reason it could be Animal Man, not sure why or how
6. I have an odd feeling this one could be Supes
7. OUCH, this one sucks... I HOPE your right in guessing that the hero wont be around but the identity will... so my guess is...
Wally West - no more flash, I dont see them killing him.. thatd just be cruel
Conner Kent - save the day type sacrifice - death
Guy Gardner - unfortionate death
Dick Grayson - Batman and still around
8. ooooh now theres a thought... Wonder Woman presumed dead...maybe she even is! and in an epilogue after crisis, we see her body propped up in some wierd military bunker surrounded by scientists....
9. I was hoping to see Joker on this list, dont know why, but my guess would be Vandal, brainiak is to world-scale, Black Adam has some values, and I dont know enough about Synestro

I'm willing to start guessing. Here's what I think:
1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
D) Oracle
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
B) Wonder Woman - To be replaced by the new Wonder Woman in the new series.
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
C) Bruce Wayne - Can't get much more crime riddled than Gotham.
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
A) Martian Manhunter
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
C) Kyle Rayner - Already listed as being in the Ion series.

I agree. Robinson writes an excellent Batman.
I'd like to see Watkiss on any title. I loved his art on Sandman, LotDK and Trigger. However, wasn't Tim Sale the artist on Blades?

Unless it was a red herring, I think bruce will be in Arkham- either way, i can't see him trying to fight crime as Batman, if he was Mayor of Gotham. He has no political experience, and if he could, why didn't he do it years ago? all of a sudden, he's going to work within the system, instead of outside of it? might be interesing, but then what would compel Nightwing to take up the Batman identity? And isn't Ollie's identity public knowledge by now? No way he could run.

Pure speculation
1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
C) Catwoman
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
B) Wonder Woman
Giving Donna Troy the chance to take over and Wonder Woman to stay on Paradise Island.
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
C) Bruce Wayne
Maybe this instead of the Arkham rumor. Bruce and Selina having a baby perhaps?
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
C) The Atom
Wild guess. He hasn't been around much since Identity Crisis.
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
D) Earth-2 Superman
Maybe he's going to be the focus of the Superman books soon
6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
B) Superman
They did say there were some big changes coming
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
A) Wally West
Well if they listed their current costumed identities I'm guessing Guy will be gone somewhere. Another galaxy perhaps. Conner Kent/Superboy will either die or be depowered. Earth Prime Superboy will become the active Superboy and Nightwing will be gone because Dick Grayson will be Batman.
8: Who's about to become the US Military's secret weapon?
C) Red Tornado
9: Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
C) Black Adam
There is that bomb under his country.

Hey, Arnold became governor of California with no political experience :D
What if something happens during OYL that leads Bruce to the conclusion that working as Batman isn't accomplishing enough, and the only way to combat things is to take charge. Bruce Wayne is a highly visible and charismatic public figure who could easily win an election.

3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
C) Bruce Wayne - Can't get much more crime riddled than Gotham.
Bludhaven has been shown to be a much more crime riddled city than Gotham. And Bludhaven crime rate is much higher.

Good point, but I was guessing based on the rumours that Dick would take over as Batman post-IC. Also, I don't see Dick as someone who would run for mayor.

Just to throw in my 2 cents....
1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
D) Oracle - makes the most sense, I just hope Dick is the father
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
C) Supergirl - takes care of the problem with her being more powerful than Superman and coulld be as a result of whatever is the truth behind where she came from
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
D) Ollie Queen - only one that can pull it off
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
C) The Atom - all of the choices could make good stories, but I have a feeling this could be a result of Atom's disappearance
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
D) Earth-2 Superman - i'm hoping this is the answer, but I could easily see the answer being Animal Man or Booster Gold with Blue Beetle's scarab, but not Kyle (been there done that)
6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
C) Flash - i dunno why but I figure this could be the reason Wally retires
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
C) Green Lantern/Guy Gardner - the way it's worded makes me give this decision, we know that Guy will still be a GL, but it's also rumored that Nightwing will now be Batman (therefore no longer around as Nightwing) and the Flash will hopefully have retired (I hope he doesn't die)
8: Who's about to become the US Military's secret weapon?
C) Red Tornado - the only one that makes sense as of right now as John isn't the govt type and Wonder Woman will probably be gone, but I do think Cyborg could fill this roll as well
9: Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
C) Black Adam - by mistake he'll destroy his own country, maybe even through betraying Luthor

I think the amnesiac hero may be Atom. I hear he's getting a new series post IC, and I was wondering how they could explore fresh territory with him.

Hey, fun! I'll play:
1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
C) Catwoman. I wonder if the baby will be named "Helena?"
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
B) Wonder Woman. Yeah, I see a return of the white jumpsuit too. This would also give Donna a chance to play Wonder Woman while having Diana still available to resume the role at a later date.
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
C) Bruce Wayne. OK, I don't actually see this happening. But it'd be a million times cooler than the Arkham thing.
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
B) Aquaman. Fans seem to like Arthur most when he's a prickly SOB who's picking fights with heroes and villains.
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
C) Kyle Rayner. Well, if those rumours about DC's post-INFINITE CRISIS series are true...
6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
A) Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). Am I correct in thinking that the world at large does not know what Hal did as Parallax? ...well, they will now.
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
D) Dick Grayson. Pretty vaguely worded question. I bet Wally will be missing in action and Guy will be in some distant part of the universe. Your guess is as good as mine on Conner, though.
8: Who's about to become the US Military's secret weapon?
B) Wonder Woman. I think it's time for a return of the Diana Prince identity.
9: Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
C) Black Adam. Much as I hate to say it, it's Adam. Brainiac and Sinestro destroy entire *planets* before they eat their breakfasts, and Vandal Savage has already destroyed a country.

Any speculation as to the answers of the multi-choice/spoiler questions

The ION (Kyle Raynor) series obviously leads to speculation that Kyle will absorb the power from the battery again during crisis and become the worlds most powerful hero as hinted about in the wizard quiz...

Hmm, intriguing.
My take, for what its worth:
1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
A) Oracle
Just a hunch.
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
A) Superman
WW makes little sense if my answer to 8 is right, and SG and Hal only just got here. Although this does throw my answer to 5 into disarray.
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
C) Bruce Wayne
Not convinced it will happen, but I think this would be the next logical step for him, and it sure beats the asylum rumours.
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
C) The Atom
Gives him a fresh start and a new direction free of the Jean baggage. Plus, MM's been done.
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
C) Kyle Rayner
I got yer "Ion" right here! (although if my 2 answer is right, maybe this should be 'D'? Hmmm....)
6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
D) Captain Marvel
Just because Hal's kinda being done, I'd like to see a better end for Wally's run as the Flash, and I suspect that Superman v2 may still be around while v1 is Clark Kent. And because Captain Marvel is the least likely to be a villain.
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
B) Conner Kent/Superboy
Well, I think we all know Wally won't be the Flash, rumours have Dick as Bats and Chaykin is working on a Guy Limited Series which sounds like it may not be Green Lantern. So maybe Conner...I just think that he'll end up being the hero of IC.
8: Who's about to become the US Military's secret weapon?
B) Wonder Woman
Wonder Agent!
9: Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
C) Black Adam
It would be sad end to Khandaq and Adam's journey - and I think thats the only country this could be about -and I think it wouldn't be deliberate but as an attempt to save it somehow. And I think that Captain Marvel will shoulder the blame. See how that dovetails with no 6?
Man, these questions have me more excited than ever about the rest of IC and OYL. DC really seem committed to making changes!

Batman/ Detective - An 8 issue story that sets up July's Bat-shakeup. Written by James Robinson, art by Don Kramer and Andy Clarke..
Robinson back on a DCU book - and its Bats? Sweet! Nice art teams, too.
Blue Beetle: Written by Keith Giffen and John Rogers, art by Cully Hamner..
Not familiar with Rogers, but Giffen and Hamner? I don't care who gets the scarab - I'm there!
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan): Written by Geoff Johns. Art by Ivan Reis..
Not a lot of surprise. Reis is a good choice.
Superman/ Action Comics: An 8 issue story leading into a major Super event in June. Written by Geoff Johns and Kurt Busiek. Art by Pete Woods..
Johns and Busiek? Oh my, Superman might just be Super again. And Pete Woods has come on in leaps and bounds lately.
Supergirl: Written by Greg Rucka. No artist mentioned..
Rucka's shown he can write strong women, so this should be interesting.
Wonder Woman: No writer mentioned (could be that Allan Heinberg rumor?). Art by Terry Dodson..
Dodson. Wonder Woman. Sold.
Checkmate: Written by Greg Rucka. Art by Jesus Saiz..
Intriguing, but I'd rather see what the concept is before I commit.
Ion (Kyle Rayner): Written by Ron Marz. Art by Greg Tocchini..
Say what you want about Marz's handling of Hal, but he had Kyle cold. One of my fave DCU characters, so I'm happy with this.
Shadowpact: Story and art by Bill Willingham..
Not sure. DoV was good, but Robin is terrible and I never picked up Fables. And can he draw?
Green Lantern Corps: Story by Dave Gibbons. Gibbons will also provide the art for at least the first three issues. Patrick Gleason takes over as regular penciler in #7 (so who will draw 4-6?)..
Probably pick this up, but depends on whether Guy is around to some extent. I'll at least try the first few issues.
And of course, the previously announced Hawkgirl written by Walt Simonson and art by Howard Chaykin.
Now this I'm excited about!
Blue Beetle ?!?!?
Bats/Supes; I wonder what these "major Super event" and "bat-shakeup" are?
So do I. Also 8 issue story with 2 issues a month. Does that mean Johns, Busiek and Robinson are only going to be working on the titles for 4 months? I'm curious to see what happens.

Batman speculation - Scroll to read
Bruce Wayne accepts E2 Superman's offer sometime in IC. At the One Year Later (OYL) point we find Bruce Wayne is married to Selina Kyle and they're expecting their first baby. He's mayor of Gotham City. Dick Grayson and Tim Drake patrol the city as Batman and Robin. Crime is down everywhere but there's something that's just not right ... This story arc will be to reestablish Bruce Wayne as Batman and Dick Grayson as Nightwing. It could also possibly add Helena Wayne to the Post Crisis universe.
Edited to add
Just to add. I'm not sure how I'd feel since it would involve time travel and I usually prefer Batman stories to be more "down to earth" but I don't see a baby as being a big part of the status quo for long. So.. time traveling somebody shows up and the baby is whisked away. Shortly afterwards a fully grown Helena Wayne is back and dressed as Batwoman. We find out she returned to help because things get very bad for Gotham in the future. Maybe she returns to convince her father to put back on the bat costume. Telling him they need him out in the streets and not behind a desk writing policy
Superman speculation - Scroll to read
E2 Supes will partially succeed in establishing E2 as the primary Earth. At least his role in it. The Feb Superman books focus on him. He will become the greatest and most powerful superhero in the DCU. Post Crisis Supes will be branded a criminal and possibly even be stripped of his powers. Perhaps they learn he was out of control when Max took him over. This will cause people to panic. This story arc will be about him trying to reestablish himself as the current Post Crisis Superman
So that's my guesses anyway.

Not true. As was stated before, Black Adam seems a more likely canidate. The destruction of Kandaq would mark the tragic end to his quest and would fit with the fact he seems to have noble intentions but they seem to clash with the "pull no punches" attitude of his.

Ok I'm only going to give my answers for 2, 3, 5, 7
Here goes:
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
A) Superman
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
C) Bruce Wayne
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
D) Earth-2 Superman
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
C) Guy Gardner
Ok here's my reasons:
I think Superman will be stripped of his powers, leaving Superboy to take over his mantle, leaving Kal-L as the most powerful hero, thus meaning, there will be no Superboy around.
Bruce Wayne will become Mayor of Gotham, so can't really be parading around as Batman, he'll try to clean Gotham publically, as Dick as Batman carries out Bruce's old work.
And as for Wally, I think he'll just retire.
I hope that made sense. ^^

1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
Based solely on hormones, I say Oracle, because she already has that yummy mummy appeal. However, if there is an Earth-2 reboot to the DCU, it could very well be Catwoman.
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
I find something hinky about Supergirl's power level, like it's multiverse/Crisis related, and that may be sorted out in IC. Also, Rucka, the new Supergirl writer, does his best work with grounded characters. I read in an interview that Superman has been Rucka's most challenging character because of the power levels. He might want Supergirl depowered.
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
Why hasn't Ollie run for mayor? But again, if there is an Earth-2 style reboot, it could be Bruce Wayne. Mayor is the next step after Commissioner.
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
The amnesia angle would be perfect for a Martian Manhunter revamp. It brings back the "stranger in a strange land" aspect that made the New Frontier J'onn so cool.
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
They're trying to trick us with Kyle. I think the Ion name is meant to establish him as independent from Green Lantern; he won't be an omnipotent demi-god (which would be damn near impossible to write). Anyone other than Superman is just wrong, so let's assume Kal-L will stick around after IC. Actually, this is plausible, given that Geoff Johns will move on to Superman following IC.
6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
It'd be ironic if it was Flash, given that COIE practically deified Barry Allen, but I don't think he'll be around. Unless it's a one-off story, it won't be Hal Jordan; it seems contrary to the direction in his book, and it's been done. Captain Marvel would be interesting, but I'll go with Superman. If Kal-L is around post-IC, it's unlikely they'll both be viewed as upstanding heroes (no conflict).
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
Guy Gardner. A greenlight-confident rumour says Wally won't be around. Big things are afoot for Superman and Batman, so it's likely their peripheral characters are affected. Guy was only recently revamped (when the IC wheels were already in motion), and he has a starring role in GLC, a hit miniseries which has been extended to an ongoing. Guy Gardner.
8: Who's about to become the US Military's secret weapon?
The GL-military angle is already covered with Hal, so not John Stewart, and who cares if the answer is a minor character like Cyborg or Red Tornado? I think this is Wonder Woman's new direction.
9: Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
At the least, I think this plot will involve Black Adam.

they won't cancel books that dwell in the hundreds. possibly JLA as a consecuence of what it has been going through, and because justice leagues come and go.
but have in mind the silly struggle MARVEL and DC have for the longest running title. even when M reset their books and numbers, they came back to them after a while.
DC has a better sense of tradition and reputation when it comes to their books. So I'm not expecting DC Comics to 'pull a Marvel' in that sense.

Hey I loved Starman and most of James Robinson's comics, but if it's as bad as his recent film work than count me out. There's no excuse for the gutting and dismemberment of League of Extrodinary gentlemen.
I was pissed after they dropped Gail and John off of Action, but with the new teams, I'm so in.

Wonder Woman, but with Superman and Lois's baby!
She will carry their baby to term when Lois almost dies trying to carry a kryptonian fetus to term.
It will also explain why Diana will not be wonder woman for a while and her sister taking over. who wants to see Wonder Woman in a maternity out fit slugging it out with super powered villians.
It might also explain why clark and diana become friends again. Why super man 2 takes over while clark stays on his parents farm with Lois and Diana[when she is not busy withduties back home!

Not sure. DoV was good, but Robin is terrible and I never picked up Fables. And can he draw?
Bill Willingham is actually a very good artist. In the 80's, he was the writer/artist/creator of Elementals, one of the best books of the decade.
As far as DC work goes, his art can be found in several issues of the old JLI series (including annual #1) and the 80's GLC series.
He also did artwork for a lot of 80's RPG's, including D&D.

6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
A) Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
B) Superman
C) Flash
D) Captain Marvel
I can't really say I like the implications of that one, as the very idea of Superman "protecting a world that fears and mistrusts him" seems outright wrong to me. Not that I know for certain that'll be the angle they'll take, just worst case scenario thinking here.
Having it be Hal would fit in with the general angle his current series has been taking though and wouldn't be too much of a change. With Flash being canned that could play into things, but I've also heard an interesting "guilt by ascociation" theory where Captain Marvel is concerned.
I suppose we'll find out more when the solicitations hit, when are those due anyways?

And of course, the previously announced Hawkgirl written by Walt Simonson and art by Howard Chaykin.
i wonder if checkmate is really necessary. or if people will be interested. Who is blue beetle going to feature?

they won't cancel books that dwell in the hundreds. possibly JLA as a consecuence of what it has been going through, and because justice leagues come and go.
but have in mind the silly struggle MARVEL and DC have for the longest running title. even when M reset their books and numbers, they came back to them after a while.
DC has a better sense of tradition and reputation when it comes to their books. So I'm not expecting DC Comics to 'pull a Marvel' in that sense.
DC's done it before. The only 'classic' DC books that are on their original numbering are Action, Detective, (Adventures of) Superman, and Batman- which they've said won't be renumbered. But the other books are all fair game- JLA's had two restarts, Wonder Woman and Flash one each, Green Lantern and Green Arrow have had two, Hawkman about four, and I've lost track of Legion, Titans, and Aquaman renumberings at this point. It will happen. They've pretty much confirmed it.

1) Which one of these heroines will give birth in '06?
Either Catwoman or Oracle. But if given the choice, Catwoman.
2)Which one of these heroes will be stripped of their powers?
Hal Jordan? No. Superman? A bit "maybe". Supergirl? Probably, since Greg Rucka will find a way to depower her. Wonder Woman? Probably, if the she is the correct answer on no. 9.
3)Who wll become Mayor of a crime-riddled city?
My money's on Ollie. Always the political one. Second would be Bruce, unless those Arkham rumors are true. There's also a possibility that Bruce would become mayor, only to find out that it was all in his head while spending his time in Arkham Asylum.
4)Who will have Amnesia and become unable to tell friend from for??
MM or Atom.
5)Who will take on the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU??
Kyle Rayner.
6)Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world??
Either Supes or Flash. It will be explained in 52. Then again, they'll probably suprise us with Capt. Marvel.
7)Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after 'Infinite Crisis'?
This is what made me nervous, unless it's a trick question.
9)Who's about to become the U.S Military's secret weapon?
Like the previous boards have said, Hal's covered the military side, so John's out (unless they retcon him to his JLU origin). Red Tornado and Cyborg may either be one. Wonder Woman is my top choice unless otherwise.
10)Which villian will destroy an entire country and kill millions in 2006?
Brainiac or Black Adam. For the unexpected choice, Vandal Savage.

1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
It's not going to be Wonder Woman, so I'm jumping on the Catwoman gives birth to Bruce's baby, Helena bandwagon. Oracle with a kid is will be just a kind of annoying addition to Birds of Prey, and Catwoman (married to Bruce!) with a baby has more "this future is resulting in Earth-2 concepts" potential.
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
I'd prefer it to be Supergirl since I don't care for her, but both Superman and Wonder Woman have potential. Too soon for Hal. I'll take Wonder Woman for the potential, Alex.
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
Wally, with the car repair background, but revealing that he was Flash III, could totally pull it off, but he won't since that would point fingers that Bart Allen is the new Flash. Dick, though a police officer, is too young. So it's either the wealthy industrialist Bruce or wealthy politically-inclined Ollie. I'll go with Bruce as it has more story potential.
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
Not Elongated Man. I'd say Martian Manhunter has the most potential.
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
It's not Booster or Animal Man. Kyle will become ION, so that's out there, but then-again, if E2 Superman is around... this one is a coin flip, but I'll pick Kyle since 2 Supermen in the universe is confusing.
6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
I think it should be Hal Jordan, but it will be one of the other three. Superman is the obvious choice, but bear with me. Captain Marvel hasn't done much, so he'll likely stay a hero. Flash will likely be Bart Allen, so I think that Wally will be forced to retire, and if Quetion #9 is Vandal Savage and Flash helped Vandal get his "Summoner" to destroy a country, then Flash will be labeled a criminal. Wally West Flash for the win.
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
Says nothing about alive/dead status. Too much focus is on Conner, so Lex Luthor will burn him out. Wally will die or retire. Dick Grayson will take a different role, probably graduating to Batman status. Would be interesting to see a Jason Todd Nightwing, but we already had that as Nite-Wing. Guy Gardner will be around; no need to remove him.
8: Who's about to become the US Military's secret weapon?
Wonder Woman because (sorry Red Tornado/John Stewart/Cyborg fans) no one would give a crap about any of the others.
9: Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
Millions? Black Adam's Khandaq has a lot of people, but I think he's in there as a red herring. Vandal Savage has this "Summoner" thing in the pages of The Flash, so it might just be him. Sinestro and Brainiac are too out of the picture to be problems right now. I'll pick Vandal. Hmm, I wonder if Wally West Flash would then become the criminal... Where's Mitch Shelley when you need him?

i was hoping for a series that would somewhat continue Villains United (catman, deadshot, etc)
im interested in the blue beetle and ion
Blue Beetle: Written by Keith Giffen and John Rogers, art by Cully Hamner.
Checkmate: Written by Greg Rucka. Art by Jesus Saiz.
Shadowpact: Story and art by Bill Willingham.
Hawkgirl written by Walt Simonson and art by Howard Chay
Ion (Kyle Rayner): Written by Ron Marz. Art by Greg Tocchini
My guesses for each. These are based more on the characters themselves and how things have gone in the past at DC with them.
Blue Beetle - He's not a huge character despite what some people might think. I mean he only popped up on occasion in recent years. It wasn't until he died that a lot of people spoke up. I just don't see this series as being a big hit.
Checkmate - About like Gotham Central. I don't see it as being a big hit either. By "big hit" I am talking sales wise. I'm sure all of these series will get a lot of praise.
Shadowpact - Another non-big hit to me. I can't recall any magic based book set in the DCU as being a huge hit. Actually I can't even think of one.
Hawkgirl - It'll get praised for the creative team but again. Not a huge character = not a big hit.
Ion - Well it'll depend on how Kyle's fans feel. If they are just content to read "Green Lantern" based on name alone (and I do think a lot of people by books just on title alone sometimes) it won't do as well. I think his book will do okay but not as good as Hal's. Of course if you were to reverse the situation and make Kyle the star of Green Lantern and put Hal in another title with a new title (but still be a Green Lantern) I think Kyle's book would do better then.
So anyone else?
I'm most excited about the Shadowpact series.
and ION!
Yeah, and Wizard says it isn't Ted Kord.
I bet its going to be Booster Gold.

I think this is a good point given that Johns could write a post-Waid cosmic-level Flash that was still entertainingly brought back to Earth. If he can do that, he can probably write Superman regardless of the Kryptonian's power level.

1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
D) Oracle - Dick as the father would be a nice touch.
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
C) Supergirl - I don't especially like the character and from the get-go there's been something incredibly suspicious about her appearance in the DCU. Power Girl is a better Supergirl than Supergirl is.
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
A) Wally West - Well... I feel pretty confident that Wally West will survive through IC but in a state of retirement, and I think this would be a great, respectful way to keep him around.
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
B) Aquaman - I'll just go with the wildcard on this one. It seems like DC desperately wants to do something new with this character, and this could reinvigorate the frachise a bit.
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
D) Earth-2 Superman - This just seems the obvious choice to me (which probably means it isn't the right one.) I think we'll either see Earth 2 Supes replace Earth 1 Supes or, more likely, they'll merge into one true Superman.
6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
A) Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) - I think whoever brought up the Parallax thing is spot on. The public will learn what Jordan did.
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
D) Dick Grayson - This one's the hardest I think. I'm torn between Dick and Guy (there's a sexual innuendo there somewhere), but I feel like IC is setting Dick up for something big, and with all the new characters being introduced in Gibbons' GLC it's totally conceivable that it won't need many of the preestablished Lanterns.
8: Who's about to become the US Military's secret weapon?
D) John Stewart - Him or Red Tornado. Again, I think GLC will focus on new Lanterns and this'll give Stewart somewhere to go.
9: Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
A) Brainiac - This answer is more what I want than anything else. Black Adam seems the likely choice, but I'm hoping DC will continue the character's progression into grey area hero/villain status (maybe closer to hero). That and I want Brainiac returned to nth level evil, because he's just so rad when he is.

Did anyone else respond to this list of titles and their creators with a range of emotions from shock to happiness to disappointment?
Blue Beetle? With Giffen and Hamner? That friggin' rocks. Although, Giffen usually needs someone else to balance his writing out and I had no idea who John Rogers was until I did some research.
Here's his blog called Kung Fu Monkey (http://kfmonkey.blogspot.com/) and some telling quotes about the upcoming Blue Beetle series.
"But to paraphrase Butch in Pulp Fiction: 'Ted's dead, baby. Ted's dead.'"
"He's someone who's never appeared in the DCU before, using the beetle scarab in a way it's never been used before."
"New hero. New costume. Please.
Got it in one, ya mad pulp bastard."
Interesting. Also, I see that he's written Zombie Tales for Boom! comics which has a hosted forum right here at CBR.

i wonder if checkmate is really necessary. or if people will be interested.
This is one that I am definitely NOT looking forward to. Checkmate is/has been one of the more boring things about the current crisis. Sasha BORE-deaux as a super-spy-robot type thing in charge of checkmate? No thank you, I've read enough comics recently running the "shadowy government agency" thing into the ground. I would prefer to be given a break, and if I ever DO want to read a story involving some super secret agency with a "cool" codename and a matching theme, I'll go read any current Marvel comic available.

1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
Probably Catwoman, since Brubaker left they don't really seem to have any idea as to what to do with her.
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
I agree with Tom, Wonder Woman, secret agent.
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
I'd say Wally West. They've done basically everything else with the character up to this point.
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
Probably Aquaman. Amnesia seems completely desperate.
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
I'll say Booster Gold, just for the hell of it.
6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
Captain Marvel would be an interesting choice.
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
Guy Gardner.
8: Who's about to become the US Military's secret weapon?
Cyborg.
9: Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
An entire country? Holy crap. Why do they even bother to pretend that the DCU is anything like our universe sometimes? I'll say Black Adam, who then frames Captain Marvel for it. I assume it meant to say Black Adam, and not "Black Atom".

Having actually read the original CHECKMATE series - I can justly say what was done with Checkmate in OMAC PROJECT was about 10,000 times more interesting than that old series. That was, easily, the most boring comic I've ever read. What Rucka's done with Checkmate - first in his DETECTIVE run and then in OMAC - was actually interesting.
I'd check this new CHECKMATE series out, for sure.
Dunno if I dig what was done with Sasha, but Rucka didn't really let me down with the series as a whole. And post-Max Lord, I think Checkmate's in for changes that could make it interesting to more casual readers. I mean, before GOTHAM CENTRAL, I didn't think I'd be interested in a gritty cop series.

Perhaps DC is in to acquire another comic company (much like how they acquired the old Charlton and Fawcett characters and interjected them into the DCU with the first Crisis) and will have one of those characters become the new Beetle...?

These were some relatively tough questions, but I have reason to believe these ones are more likley.
1: Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
C) Catwoman - Perhaps related to the future E2 Sups shows Batman (with Selina and Bruce married with a child)
2: Which one of these super heroes will be stripped of their powers?
B) Wonder Woman - Hence the end of the WW series.
3: Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
D) Ollie Queen - Process of elimination, Dick and Wally are unlikely to be around after IC, and Bruce doesn't seem mayor material.
4: Who will have amnesia and become unable to tell friend from foe?
B) Aquaman - Always seemed a bit different and would be interesting as more of an outsider. Other possibility was J'onn.
5: Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
D) Earth-2 Superman - There is only most powerful hero in the DCU and it's Superman. Hence if someone else takes the mantle, they have to be... Superman.
6: Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
B) Superman - One of them has to be wrong.
7: Which one of these heroes is the only one who'll be around after Infinite Crisis?
C) Guy Gardner - Although he's the one I really want to go, I can't think why he would. Unless DC have realised how annoying he is and thought IC is a good place to 'off' him.
8: Who's about to become the US Military's secret weapon?
C) Red Tornado - Cyborgs too cool to give away. Seems like RTs been little lately so it's a good way to breath some new life into him.
9: Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
C) Black Adam - Seems like his kind of thing to do.

I didn't see that Supergirl was joining the legion.
Anyone else think that its going to be Powergirl joining the legion? (taking the name of Supergirl now that she knows she's Supe's cousin)

Here are my predictions:
1) Which one of these heroines will give birth OYL?
It won't be Power Girl, it just was too damn confusing the first time. I truly doubt it would be Wonder Woman, even though OYL could have surprising changes. Diana just hasn't been ever too keen on getting in long-term relationships. This is where it gets tougher. Catwoman and Oracle, hmm. I just really think that Catwoman would be right, but I keep feeling that Oracle has had many hints going on that a pregnancy could happen. I'll say her at the moment.
2) Which of these superheroes will be stripped of their powers?
I think it'll be Wonder Woman because Hal has just arrived on the scene, as Kara has ( even though Rucka is writing her soon), and Superman is just too nebulous in terms of what would be done.
3)Who will become mayor of their crime-riddled city?
I think Wally just wouldn't happen because civilians only see his experience as a mechanic on his resume. Dick Grayson is likely with Bruce Jones, but it just doesn't seem like it will happen at the moment. I'd say it'll be Bruce, with the many rumors that Batman will be light again, as well as that Bruce will not be Batman for awhile.
4) Who will have amnesia and will be unable to tell from friend or foe?
I think that Aquaman has gone through many revamps, that it's possible, but I just don't buy it. Atom and Martian Manhunter seem more likely to me, and I just haven't decided which one is more likely, as both have rumored minis or series in the works according to Rich.
5) Who will take the mantle as the most powerful hero in the DCU?
Kyle is a big red herring to me, even though he will be back to being Ion, one of the most powerful beings in the DCU. I doubt it will Booster, and I wish it was Animal Man, but it would really require me to believe that Grant would like to do another series with the character, and I think his run was too good to continue. It'll be Earth-2 Superman, mark my words.
6) Which hero will become a criminal in the eyes of the world?
Let's just put it through that it won't be Hal, although it would be hilarious to see the HEAT people in a frenzy. I'm just going to guess, and say Captain Marvel. It would be very interesting to see the Big Red Cheese, the whitebread hero to the public, be hated by the rest of the world.
7) Which one of these heroes is the only one who will be around after Infinite Crisis?
I think Connor Kent will be the Titans Crisis kill. It just seems strange to solicit a costume change for Superboy Prime, unless it meant something for the future. I would say that Dick and Wally wouldn't be dead, but just are more likely to either travel to the future or assume a new identity, thus no Wally West or Dick Grayson. I say Guy Gardner, especially with a GLC title after OYL.
8) Who's about to be the US military's secret weapon?
I really don't think that Terry Dodson can deal with cheesecake and the military in a book with Wonder Woman. I doubt its John, although his history would be nice to assume it. I'll say Cybory, it would add a needed story element to character who has been relegated to no development in his book.
9) Which one of these villains will destroy an entire country and kill millions?
It won't be Black Adam. It would really be out of character. I say Vandal, because he seems to have a larger role in IC and OYL than people realize right now, because of the latest Flash.
If they make Captain Marvel a criminal, then it will finally prove that DC just doesn't know what to do with the character. Man, what a crappy idea.

The hell with all these, DC still ain't got no love for the Main Man, Lobo?!?!
Hopefully lose him in a giant warehouse of stupid ideas and never find him again.

If Wally does become mayor, whatever shall become of Goldface...?
And I don't see Black Adam being the one who kills millions.....but I do see Khandaq (sp?) being the millions who die. Something tells me this gets Black Adam squarely back on the side of the heroes...
Maybe he could pop up over in green lantern, along with a NEW Goldface.

So it's not Booster, then.........hope he's involved somehow, at least. (With Giffen's involvement, I think he'll have a role)
Perhaps DC is in to acquire another comic company (much like how they acquired the old Charlton and Fawcett characters and interjected them into the DCU with the first Crisis) and will have one of those characters become the new Beetle...?
Geez, what's left to acquire? (1,000 posts!)

Well, GL Kyle Rayner will become Ion (though, we really don't know what that means).
Also, I hope you plan to ignore the things from Lying in the Gutters until it is actually confirmed by DC.

LSH will become SUPERGIRL AND THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES.
Greg Rucka will take over Supergirl's solo series and has promised to keep guest stars down to a minimum for awhile to focus on giving her a life.
Levitz and Morales will do five issues of JSA set during the one year gap.
Gotham Central is ending.
The Superman and Batman titles are being pared down so that (excluding spinoffs) Superman and Batman themselves will have two titles a piece. Batman, Detective, Superman (back to volume one numbering) and Action will survive.
JLA is cancelled.
Flash is cancelled. (Although Didio has told some fans for months now that he wants a "Rebirth"-style refocusing of the book; he has also said that he opposes Barry's death being undone.)
DC is being coy about who will be Batman, Nightwing and Robin when the dust settles.
A Wonder Woman relaunch is confirmed, no details.
An Ion series starring Kyle Rayner is confirmed.

It's Levitz and Perez on JSA, isn't it?
And you forgot Hawkman becoming Hawkgirl by Simonson & Chaykin.
It's Levitz and Perez on JSA, isn't it?Perez is only drawing the Feb. issue which is an Infinite Crisis tie-in. The five issues after that are drawn by Rags and take place one year later.

Where was it confirmed that Cass was no longer gonna be Batgirl? I know that there will be a Batwoman book, and the Batgirl title will be gone, but that doesn't mean that Cass will no longer be Batgirl. Just b/c she won't have her own book doesn't mean she'll definitely stop being Batgirl.

I wish they could/would go back to Dan Garrett here.
But failing that, I think they should make the new Beetle NED Kord.

Have Superman:Confedential and Batman:Confidential (done in the JLA and JSA Classified style) been confirmed or denied?
Have Superman:Confedential and Batman:Confidential (done in the JLA and JSA Classified style) been confirmed or denied? No one besides Lying in the Gutters has mentioned them. And I really hope that rumor isn't true. I like the JLA and JSA classified books and I fear the concept would get diluted with two more similar books.
